@@KingKong-do8cj No, the later Toblerone breakdown - which began with him driving to Dundee in his bare feet - happened during 2000 and 2001. The aftermath was depicted in the second series of _I'm Alan Partridge_ in 2002, and he also wrote about it in 'Bouncing Back' and 'I, Partridge.'

These segments are arguably the best Partridge's of all time. I've seen them all. I've laughed a lot, too much, if there is such a thing! I can honestly say, hands down, this is the video that brings me most joy. It's Alan, it's classic, It's live, It's hilarious, Michael's in it, sorry, Charity Charlie. Enjoy, but most of all give. Give to the poor ones not laughing. Laugh, but remember those not laughing. Just something to think about.

There are those rare things in comedy (although my listing further on makes it appear they're not that rare at all), where you can watch, watch and re-watch a bit without tiring in the least, even laughing more and more each time round. The Simpsons, OFAH, Family Guy, Blackadder, Reginald Perrin, Dad's Army etc., but almost all of Partridgiana is the absolute and very top! All hats off, Mr. Coogan (and Ianucci, Baynham and Gibbons)!
