They really didn't put a shift in with this series of Oasthouse. Has its moments, but it's quite ham-fisted. It's like they thought, it's only a podcast, who cares. To be honest, if you weren't familiar with Partridge and you listened to this I'm not even sure you'd know it was meant to be a comedy... but you'd definitely know the exterior scenarios were as fake as a 50p note.

@@t_h_e__l_i_g_h_t8938 It might be one of those that will be funnier with a second listen. What won't improve though is how lame the production of the exteriors was. I mean, they didn't even attempt to explain how Alan recorded himself with crystal clarity swimming down the middle of a river and almost drowning. It was obvious the mic was nowhere near his face. That kind of thing doesn't spoil the comedy so much, but it is a bit lame, in an it's only a podcast sod it type way. The exteriors in the previous one weren't that ham-fisted. And talking at the top of his voice while hiding in a cupboard from someone walking up and down close enough to hear the footsteps on a handheld recorder... I just found myself unable to suspend disbelief to that level of stupidity.

Ahhhh the theme tune that makes falling asleep to this podcast almost impossible. Cheers guys. Whoever decided it was smart/funny to interrupt the dialogue every five minutes with this tiresome ditty needs a kick in the nuts/lady bollocks

Yes because the merit of a good podcast is whether some randomer on the internet can fall asleep to it or not and is definitely worthy of a kick in the testicles.

@@CountryRoadist I didn't say it defined the podcast or anything, you flange. Regardless of where it's being played, the tune is way too frequent. I've got a few friends who listen as well and it's a bugbear we've all commented on. (What kind of bell end defends the theme tune?! Sheesh)
