I think we look to much into it when celebrities have opions or say stuff in interviews. What he said isnt a big deal, dont think a video was needed on this. Just enjoy the shows for what they are. I think he did a great job as reacher and is perfect for the roll.

He's not wrong about the Bond franchise, regardless of the extent to which the franchise that he is responsible for the portrayal of a single character in is subject to the same criticism. There is nothing inherently sexist or misogynistic in consenting adults not conforming to one or the other of the moral codes of the abundant religious mythologies. It is a good and proper function of popular entertainment to lead a culture away from superstitious nonsense.

Why would the face of a successful franchise take a dump on the qualities that make it successful among its demographic, at the risk of alienating that demographic? Because someone got to him with dire predictions of 'never working in this town again', etc., blah, blah, and the big lug believed it. Someone got him scared about life after Reacher, decades of no work, and he's had a taste of the high life. So he's a working actor, trying to thread an unfair needle, and believing the wrong voices. It happens. It just means all of us consumers of such fare need to keep consuming it, making it more profitable than the really warped stuff coming from those voices that got to him. Dry them up, while lifting up shows like Reacher. In spite of its gullible lead....

Alan Ritchson thought he could get the role of Thor just by looking the part. Chris Hemsworth won out and has so much more charisma and natural physicality
