Alan Titchmarsh has revealed the four plants you should have in your garden that will keep slugs at bay this summer.

These pests typically thrive in damp outdoor conditions, often taking refuge under rocks and in shaded areas.
However, renowned TV gardener Alan Titchmarsh has come to the rescue with his top tips for maintaining a slug-free garden.
In a chat with Gardeners' World Magazine podcast, Alan revealed that ferns are among the most resilient plants when it comes to warding off both snails and slugs.
The list includes ferns, Geraniums, Alchemilla (Lady's Mantle), and Fuchsias and Penstemons.
