I liked him ever since i watched A Knights Tale when i was younger

3/4/24 Alan Tudyk I really enjoy Alan‘s interviews. His comments & observations are thoughtful & very interesting. Technically, he demonstrates his knowledge of acting & filmmaking using the skill set/tools of his craft,(his interpretation) gleaned from his excellent training. He offers a comprehensive, analysis & understanding of the “working parts“ of his characters. However, the true foundation of his success comes from the fact that he submits himself to the character. He has an innate sense of humor and improvisation. There’s no such thing as the “overnight success”. It’s the years of hard work opportunity accompanied by passion for his craft. That’s the part that comes from the inside, that can’t be taught. So glad that “Resident Alien” offered the platform for him to share his full range of his acting and comedic talent! Thank you so much for the laughs! @AlanTudyk

"You committed to a role and you stuck to it." There's an episode of Firefly where Alan Tudyk (Wash) is with Nathan Filiion (Malcolm) and the episode is called War Stories. Malcolm has known Wash's wife since the war, so there's a platonic relationship between them that just gets into Wash's craw cuz as much as he loves his wife and his wife loves her, Wash can't compete with Malcolm in some ways. So there's this moment where Wash insists on going with Malcom for a dangerous gig where usually his wife would go. So Malcolm and Wash are stuck with each other and of course the situation gets more and more dangerous and complex and Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion are both 100 percent into their respective roles, and watching Alan Tudyk in this episode is one of the greatest.. Fillion too but this comment is about Alan Tudyk "professional prankster." He's so gung ho in this role and from start to finish he's just so over the top beautiful in the part. One of the best episodes of the short lived series.
