Background: Remedy Entertainment's ALAN WAKE is a game like no other with a rich, detailed world. Containing provocative characters and cinematic supernatural moments, this game has stayed with me since I first played it game in May, 2010. To honor ALAN WAKE's 10th anniversary as well as it's creator Sam Lake, I have taken footage from the game and converted it to 3D and then added live-action VR footage of the real world locations that inspired the designers of ALAN WAKE.

Oh yes, the struggle is real. The file is a beast to export and I caught that error after I finished. Arghhhhhhhhhhh! 🤷🏻‍♂️

The channel always makes me nonplussed, speechless but not surprised.... indeed once Id made a comment about another 360 project which had amazed me a lot that time. It’s not different this time, I mean, it’s as good or better than the other projects I have seen... this is outstanding.. this is marvelous... This out of patterns... Thats why this is blackboxTV

damn looks like you put in some time into this format, as a viewer though it's kind of a pain to constantly rotate back and forth though. maybe it's better with a VR setup/headset?

These are good but, ohh do i miss the shorts idk if there difficult to make especially with covid and youtubes insanely unfair restrictions. but they were top notch like the alfred Hitchcock hour or twiglight zone of youtube and i mean that they were some of the best content on this site

Thank you for your comment. I never went to film school so those shorts, they were my film school. I’m about to start working on my third feature film (a horror movie) that I am so excited to be working on. It’ll take a few years to get it right but I’ve learned that good things take time. Meanwhile, I love doing the VR shorts because they are really hard to make but each one teaches me so much about a new type of storytelling. Either way, thank you!

Hey umm... BlackboxTV, KZfaq mobile VR mode is still broken or unavailable. I can use my finger to move the screen, but it's not the same. I loved the video btw.
