Thank you R E ! I thought I'd bought every one of Alan Watts' 1st kinoscope (and far superior videotaped 2nd) season of KQED's Eastern Wisdom and Modern Life of the early 1960s, until i just saw this today. Any more rarities??

Can someone give me the link to a lecture of this kind where Alan Watts says that the flower grows organically from the center all at once and it’s not made out of parts or pieces. Thanks in advance.

looks like rolling ability scores for D&D. i think alan got a 18 for int and wis
@N0Xa880iUL2 жыл бұрын
Can you please explain what that means? I've heard D&D means dungeons and dragons, int and wis is probably intelligence and wisdom.

@@N0Xa880iUL 5 months ago, not sure. law & order, was he maybe talking about the book of changes? the i ching? doing a demo with dice and bones? either way i am sure it was a compliment to his intelligence and wisdom. and yes on the d&d, and 18 is as high as you can roll, 3 6 siders
@YARDRACERS2 жыл бұрын
@@N0Xa880iUL i dont want to sat that was a inside joke. but that that was made to be not understood,,,,, except for those who knew. you did figure it out correctly, other than 18 is as high as one can get when they roll.

@@YARDRACERS score 18 is as high as it gets - rolling 3 6s. Makes sense now thanks!

@@N0Xa880iUL Most welcome.. I really love these old shows. i pulled them all into my library a while back. mark or whatever his boys name is shut many down, i sorta understand because he spent alot of time and helped with many shows and talks. but i sorta feel the people were robbed. Watts was a awesome student and master. Very thankful to see a few are still up.
