That is the point of faith. Not just Christian Faith. But faith of all forms. It requires you relinquish the ego for the ability to be connected to everything for eternity. We are all dying everyday. If you think of how long the galaxies and earth has existed before us and how long it will exist after us, you cannot possibly think that the day your physical body dies is the end.

I don't think of death as death.I think it's an adventure! You should google roger ebert what he saw on his death bed.it's Very interesting. When my mom was dying of cancer she would be in and out of consciousness.she would be smiling and saying quietly OH WOW or Beautiful. One time fully conscious she told me she had been with my dad.

There is ALWAYS proof that you're in the theater. Somehow, someway the truth reveals itself. With life after death, ghosts, gods/mythical deities? NOT ONCE. NOT ONCE. Though we are here in a time when our corrupt governments and psychopathic rich maggots can FOOL us into thinking there is a god with their technology. Don't believe me, it's okay. They are counting on that.

@Dan S What I am about to say will lead you to believe that I am either crazy or a liar. I am neither both. I'm sane, never been diagnose with any kind of mental illness and do not take any drugs. #gangstalking is a catch-all term for those that are victims of the US government's "cointelpro" program that targets and destroys people's lives they consider, "undesirables, dissidents, activists, terrorists or all of the above. IT EXISTS. IT HAPPENS. If you google zerzetzung (spelling?) you will BEGIN to get an idea of what goes on here in the Terrorist-USofA. It's a systematic destruction of a person's life and sadistic torture is involved. Lastly to get to your technology question... this is the part that will not be believable. A small contingent of peoples around the world have access to technology that is beyond anything you have imagined. It is not too disimilar to what is portrayed in cheesy science fiction movies. Weapons that are invisible, that can be employed from a far distance, that are remote and that can kill. Not just the kind that the US ambassadors were attacked with in Cuba or China -- but much more advanced. So advanced in fact that if I began explaining how they are used and what they do? You would instantly think I am delusional, crazy, schizo or more. I assure you, I am not. One tactic they use is hacking into my everyday life (along with the torture of course) and sending me threatening messages or messages that are taunting. I know, sounds hard to believe. But that is what zersetzung is... it's a death of a thousand cuts. I can guarantee you, our psychopathic, sadistic, cowardly government and the hundreds of organizations getting fat off of taxpayer money torturing and surveilling innocent civilians is not a figment of my imagination. They are simply well hidden. Check out the NRO Badges. What could those bizarre things mean? Hmm, really weird dontcha think? You don't know a fraction of it. I'll leave you with one of my favorite quotes if you're still reading, and I have no doubt you are a bot or a troll anyway but I write back because, well, for my own reasons: www.goodreads.com/quotes/632474-i-have-a-foreboding-of-an-america-in-my-children-s

Philosophy is the way to live. Modern society is so fast and so indulgent in their own business that we forget to stop and appreciate the smallest of things. This one day i was coming home from work and it was almost sun down. I’ve been depressed for some time and i just decided to not go home immediately and i laid on the grass of a small park beside my home. I closed my eyes and i felt small rain drops in my face. Usually I’d get up and run home because I don’t like rain that much. But the decision of me not doing that really made me love rain. Even tho it was just a little amount but it touched my soul. I really felt good after that. (Sorry for long essay xP)

@Prayn Mantis I believe, in time, that medical/scientific practises and that which is spiritual, will not be so separated. But as hard as it is, one of the key fundamental components of a successful life is one's ability to forgive others misgivings. Forgiveness truly is healing to oneself and to one's loved ones. It's a wonderful energy, as powerful as love and any other emotion. Focus on wonderful memories, being grateful for every moment in life makes a world of difference 🙏

One night in 2009, i went to my room to sleep, i had school next day. I sat on the bed with my head on hand (i dont know how to say, i hope you understand) and i looked outside the window at the full bright moon. I just closed my eyes for a fraction of a second, and opened them to see the sun instead of the moon. It was night a fraction of a second ago, and now a day. I dont know what happened, i still think about it till this day. I believe that when i closed my eyes, i entered a dream, which is my life now, and this dream is only a fraction of a second, and in the dream (my life) it feels like years. I think when i die, i'll be back at 2009, sitting on the bed looking at the moon.

I have often wondered if life isn't really what we think it is. I know that may sound kind of "out there" but how do we truly know this thing we call "life" really is what we think it is? Fact is, we don't. We just assume we know what it is through religious teachings or what we know as empirical data but how do any of us **really** know? We assume when we die we either go somewhere else or we simply cease to exist altogether, depending on one's personal beliefs. Ultimately none of us really, Really, REALLY knows until our own time is up. Whatever and wherever that may be, I surely hope to see you all once again :)

But until that time I will forever be a student of the vast possibilities of this thing we call **life** and just what it really is, but I believe there is far more to our existence than the temporary vessels we reside within in this place we call the universe.

Two years ago I didn't know about Alan Watts or any of this sort of stuff. At the time I felt frustrated as if I should have been someone or done something important in my life. Rather than seek out a counselor I looked up hypnotherapists. I did regressive hypnotherapy not long after. The craziest thing I told myself during the session was that I didn't need to worry about being or doing anything important, that I (and others) planned my life already and that I just came here to experience it. Life has never been the same since.

Guitarwizard999 okay but what if I really can’t stand life because the one thing I constantly think about is what I really am? I’m 28 and for as long as I can remember I wanted answers, I could never accept that life is just what it is. I can’t handle the fact that I’ll never know what’s going on here, it drives me insane. I tried so many things to make it stop and just live, I thought about taking acid because I heard so much good stuff about it from people who are like me. But I’m scared, I’ve got a couple diagnoses and acid is never good with that. But yeah, what if my biggest problem isn’t my life itself but the fact that I can’t grasp it? I can’t even explain it like it really is, there are no words for what i think and feel 24/7.

Maybe we are already dead - and the living we are doing right now is just the massive flashback of our lives… Perhaps this explains the cosmic clockwork of why a moment ten years ago feels like yesterday? Is it why they say, ‘life is not a rehearsal’? Could it account for Déjà vu? Does it make sense of fate? Are we already ghosts? Is it why stars are ghosts? Is the past still full of possibility?

All true. Because when you're out of time you're in the eternal and everything exists at once with no space. A singularity if you will. But in these bodies we move with senses through energy fields that we detect in a sliver of patterns that we make sense of. These bodies are able to separate and distinguish or "stretch time" thus space and move through it in a seemingly linear fashion. But once the ripple or the wave is through it sinks back into the eternal. And the eternal cannot experience without stretching itself. And it stretches so far until it can see itself. That is consciousness.

When we were in our mamas belly, swimming in those Waters, eating and breathing through some kable attached to our belly, we thought "this must be life" although we can't remember shit from that time, it has to be like that, we in mamas belly thinkink that this is our life. And that, suddenly the light appears, water is going out and we are choking, there is no water anymore, and we must think that we are dying... You're getting out, some big monster is slapping your butt, and cutting the wire wich You were using to breathe or eat! Wtf is going on?! The World is ending.. But. It's not, this is just a beginig of your life and Journey... So we don't really know if this sitauation is not similar to this one, when we actully die and are conscious of it.. Who knows what doors gets open after..? We are all about to see after death.

I had a similar dream after my Mom passed in 2015. It was really weird. I dreamt that my life is like it is and that people in my life who were dead, were dying. If that makes sense. In other words I was reliving my loved ones dying all over again. But then I was in a room with all of my dead relatives that I knew in life. I then notice my mom is sitting on a couch and talking to a woman i didn't recognize. All the while mom and this woman were talking and laughing and just plain enjoying each other's company Then it hit me. (I'm actually fighting back tears as I write this). My mom is talking with her mom who died when I was three. My mom and grandma didn't have a close relationship while here on earth. And it sure seems like they have made up for it in the afterlife. God bless.

She smiled and said....."It was as thou I woke up from a dream" My partner of 48 years passed in 2014 on Valentines Day at home....He appeared in a dream and I asked him the same question. He said it was as thou he was simply pulled from his body. It gives me great comfort to know they are still around, just not in human form and waiting.

My explanation having tried it is that it activates your mirror neurons to such an extent that you're able to let go off the filters that seperate yourself from the outside. Since everything you see is in your "self" and our brain does work to create an individual vs an environment, once you dissolve that boundary, it'll all seem as "ONE". (which it actually is)

I remember asking someone in my dream, "who's thinking for you... You're in my mind." they went on and said "when you wake up, who's mind are YOU in? & will you go on and ask everyone else the same question when you wake up?" I said, "no, because theyre not in my mind, are they?" it's the question that drives us. We are all an instance of one consciousness separated by what we call death.. We have absolutely no references of death because we cannot comprehend it, therefore we continue to wake up like it was all a nightmare. Every single person that dies in they're dream, wakes up.. So that's what I'm expecting. 👽

Alan Watts was one of the first philosophers whom REALLY spoke to my soul!!! A few years ago, I was at rock bottom, depressed, I just lived my life numb to the actual experience. I stumbled across meditation/mindfulness, etc. and ended up so fascinated by it’s POSSIBILITIES. After the first video I found by Alan Watts was over, I remember sitting there telling myself, “WOWWW, I FINALLY GET IT. IT FINALLY MAKES SENSE!” I wish I could’ve sat and had a face to face conversation with this man. Even if only for but a few minutes.

I’m sorry you’re feeling like you’re at your rock bottom. Its absolutely miserable. I’m a single mother of 3 boys, and even though I’ve come a long way (practicing meditation, etc) depression creeps up sometimes. It’s THE hardest thing keeping a smile on my face all day around my boys when I’m drowning and hurting underneath.

I have no family or friends, literally just my kids. Some People don’t believe us when we reach out to them. (I SWEAR I go WEEKS without my phone ringing, or even talking to another adult in person..except when picking my kids up from school) So, if you’re going through some of the same, understand that there are others out here who understand EVERY THING YOU’RE FEELING && care. it’ll get better. At an extremely young age, I’m talking 4 or 5 years old, I begun to think: “what if I’m the only one who feels? The only one who knows?” I felt as though everyone were ‘robots’, to put it simply. I felt as though everybody else was false, in a specific way. Because I only see my own point of view, I only feel what I feel, I only know what I know. What if I just adapted to the life surrounding me as time went by? What if I taught myself to feel by observing others and their reactions, which by my theory are fake? What if I have tricked myself into feeling? Now I can see the resemblance and connection to sociopathic behaviour in what I’m saying, but I just found it odd, since I remember this peculiar memory and thought from my early childhood.

I felt like someone else was in my body and my memories and feelings weren't mine. It was the worst period of my life and it took me 5-6 months to recover. During this trial I had to remember who I was and every day I had to get up and start over again, the next morning was the same ..it was frustrated at the beginning but it worth trying and now I feel that I gained my life back and I feel life at a different level and meaning and cherish every moment, even remember things more clearly and seems like I evolved a lot in the last year. Maybe if I wouldn't get through all of this I would be the same person with the same ideas and I feel right now that it was for my own good.

I have a very similar experience, I was severely depersonalized and derealized; and I tried to start over again, because looking back I realized I was living in a horrible way. I'm glad a similar story has happened to someone else. However, I think what you're describing happens to most people in their life journey. People usually have "rebirth", moments in their life (usually in a mid-life crisis).

yeah I feel. this way, few years ago I started feel really bad mentaly, and it's probably because of the traumatic and mentaly disturbing things that happened to me in the past, I probably suffer from depression and few other things but lemme tell you smth. I have few weird dreams that i remembered very well. One is that i was in the bus and I was driving in the night and there was only one person that looked like my friend but when I think about it now it was probably the death. Then the accident happened. We crushed on the tree and before that i screamed 'watch out'. I dont know how to say that but the bus was in peaces and in that tree. I couldnt understand what is going on it was so wierd. My body was there i think but it wasnt me anymore. I left my body(????) and I was floating higher and higher. But this isnt the weirest part. When I was floating everything started to glitching worser and worser. Like computer glich but in reality, the tree was in peaces, every thing around me started to desapear in weird way. I was breathing but the higher i was, slower I breathed. Then something wierd happened and I cant remember it, then i FUCKING woke up in shook. There's much more, more wierd deams, predictions and stuff. But this comment is already too long.

As I Astro Travel I'm not in human form but in Angel form (like a fairy with pastel coloured wings). I was given a poem to write down called...Sleep The Sleep of The Dreamer !! Also I was told Time is a man made concept for there is no such thing as time in the Universe....just Past, Present and Future which is cylindrical....what goes around comes around......the beginning is the end as the end is the beginning. I'm 33. I have aspergers. I keep doing my own thinking independently of earlier. The brain constructs the past itself in the present. And my brain tends to bury the past in the sand. I've sometimes had false memories in a dream that my past went totally differently than it did. One more recent case of a false memory in a dream is one where I was 70. I had a false memory that now was so long ago that it was very buried in the sand. Of course, I didn't actually live through the whole thing in that dream. So I felt like that time had taken ages to come and so didn't have a problem with it being that time now. On the other hand, when I once had a dream 2 months after a pancake supper that it was the time of the next one, I felt like it wasn't very long because it actually wasn't but didn't know that and then when it actually was the time of the next one, I didn't have a problem anymore. It truly felt like the previous one was so long ago. Now, it maybe was about 5 years ago and there doesn't seem to be a problem now. I kept doing my own thinking and burying earlier in the sand but had some awareness of earlier so I felt like eons of passed. Sometimes dreams can teach a lesson. Theoretically, I could pretend that the 70 years really happened when they hadn't and pretend I thought I only had about 20 years left and then saw that I have a lot more and really appreciate it.

You live in the same place as everyone and everything else, we all share the same address and we all share the same identity as the universe itself interacting with itself, so you are me and I am you the only difference is our experiences, your name and occupation are not who you are because they are made up, your name by your parents and your occupation by whoever, not an objective reality but an agreed upon idea. I have seen this speech before many times, and I used to not get it or think it was a silly point. But over time, I realized he was right. It also leads into other ideas, such as, are you living the life you want to live? If you get caught up into the grind for money and living in the future and tying yourself down, then no, you aren't living the life you want to live.
