i enjoy the fact that "Evan" seems more numb to disaster then the others, it's a very common trauma response and since he did see his sister die it's only inevitable that he would be more numb, good detail, i like when ppl incorporate realistic trauma responses

So to explain why their expressions are like that, is because of the timeline. Kids were more mature and are able to handle serious situations. That is why after seeing a few videos, they simple got used to it. (My previous comment got removed because the original video got blocked. Hopefully this explains their reactions.)

The environment at that time shaped them. You have a different opinion, and that I will respect. But please note, that my comment may not be true for everyone, it is still applies for others.

As I've already said, it irreversibly fucked every single one of them up, because they were _children_ being exposed to topics that even adults find upsetting. I understand what you were going for, but the word you were looking for was "normalized". Not a bunch of toxic bullshit that you'd only expect to hear from a shitty parent.
