No, they will be the same. Or, the system side pressure will be higher than the inlet side pressure. Because there's a pressure compensation device(one way), so if the system side has something like a little leakage that causes pressure drop, a little stream of water will flows through compensation device, into the system side to keep both sides have the same pressure. 2nd, becuase the height of water causes pressure increasing in the system side guage, and the water will not possible to flow into the water inlet side. So, the system side gauge may has a higher reading than the inlet side.

@@siifuu oh, my inlet pressure reading is 250psi and system pressure is 220psi in standby mode.. what is the problem about this?

@@storm_bringer2266 this is not a common sense. Check to see if there's a leakage on the system side or valve trim, check to see whether the pressure gauge damaged or not.
