My first Alaska trip was from Vancouver BC to Los Angeles on their 727-200. I was knee high to a grasshopper, but I remember getting a second Coke. Never have seen the Northern Lights live. That must have been incredible. Enjoy your channel.

I had the pleasure of flying AS on MCO-SEA-MCO route back in June and had a great flight the 739. I definitely will be flying them again.

In Sept of 2017 my family I flew AS from SFO to PVR on a Boeing 739. On the way back from PVR we had to connect in SAN. Our flight from SAN to SFO was operated by an EX Virgin America A319. All of our AS flights featured the old interior design except for the A319 with still had the Virgin America Design.

Flew Alaskan back in pre-covid February 2020 from STL-SEA on the 739 before heading to South Korea for an overseas tour. This was the first time I flew anybody other than Southwest, and I’ve got nothing but positive things to say about my experience with them. Flight Attendants even gave me my inflight sandwich box for free for being active military. Thank you Alaskan, I will definitely look for you on my way back to the states

Love Alaska airlines love your videos great trip report I’m actually from Alaska and live here tho down in southeast totally different but worth the stop next time also that exact plane broke on me a couple years ago love the cabin in it tho so new and fresh and all the 700s now have the weird cowling

Until 2021 I’ve always wondered why Alaska Airlines never flies to Alaska hence it’s name. It was in 2021 I found out about their famous milk run! Based on videos and reviews, I feel like that I should give them a try for my next domestic United States flight.

Its actually approved almost instantly. Its usually the processing and uploading which can take time. With good wifi, from the moment I press upload and when its available to publicize it could take 30mins to nearly 3 hours.

What are you talking about? They kept them barely down for the climb out, lifted them, and then they were almost full for landing.

Maybe a problem with them and left them down for the engineers to look at. Or someone forgot after landing flows

i had one question. are the meals free. im flying in this aircraft in july of 2022 and wanted to know whats free and not. and also is the wifi free?

Wi-Fi is down to a cost of 8 dollars flat fee on most of their aircraft. In terms of meals, they’re free in first. In economy soft drinks are free, and you do get a snack. But any other meal they serve comes at a cost. You’re able to pre-order them on their app if you like, between 2 weeks and 24 hours before your flight. Otherwise it’s also a smart bet to bring food onboard if you’d like

I’ve flown all current variants of aircraft in the Alaska fleet. Thumbs up to B737-900, due to 16 F & 24 PE seats and to A321 for being the largest capacity as well as 16F & 24 PE seats, and the only aircraft in their fleet with a mid cabin lavatory. Thumbs down to the Q-400 for terrible stiff back seats and minimal leg room. Cabin Crew have always been 👍. Snack offerings and F meals have always been thoughtful healthier items. MVP Gold get the mini J Co Co chocolate bars on flights as well as 2x mileage plan redeemable miles. They’re also pretty flexible with moving to earlier flights and if you happen to miss your flight or circumstances coming up to get you rebooked with minimal hassle for upper elite members. We’ll see how it all plays out when they integrate into the One World partnership....I have the feeling some of these benefits will be reduced a bit, and will also not fully carry over to OW/non Alaska elites (like AA). Good thing they brought coffee back on morning flights...cool weather is rolling in.

Whoa! Another gray hair just popped out--so you're telling me Quentin is 40yrs my junior,a mere teenager? Wow! And here I thought he was a HS grad! Alaska is a LONG way from Florida,a long way from anywhere in the lower 48,you're probably better part of 3000 miles from home,several time zones removed. i have flown AS SEA-IAH some years ago,its up on my channel,no interior shots,paid $600 OW FC,which I thought was a deal at the time. Something on my bucket list is to fly IAH-SEA-ANC on AS,do some sightseeing,then take the Alaska RR to Fairbanks,more sightseeing,then again take the train back south,fly ANC-SEA-IAH on AS--am assuming that AS pretty much has a monopoly on the FAI-ANC route,you were the only a/c on the tarmac! The scenery here is a vast contrast from your previous posting of AeroMexico--on your laptop,what is that sticker next to your college emblem?
