Alaska Glacier Adventure: Helicopter Flight with a Landing & Wild Blueberries on Matanuska Glacier

While in Alaska, we got the chance to ride on a helicopter and land on the Matanuska Glacier. It was a bucket list experience for both my dad and I and something I will never forget. Here is the full adventure featuring our landing on the 27 mile glacier and trying some fresh blueberries on the side of the hill.

We had the pleasure to fly with Mark last summer! What an amazing experience! We also got the mountain top blueberry treat! Highly recommend that flight to all who venture there! I our full 18 day road trip series on my channel! Good idea of mounting the gopro to the helicopter! Wish I had done that!

All your adventures with Pops are interesting, fun, and so well done, but this might just be my favorite! My best trip ever was two weeks in Alaska in 1986, and I got to walk on a glacier, but this helicopter trip shows the grandeur and beauty at a whole new level! Alaska truly is a spectacular, magical place...thank you for reminding me of that!❤😊

Amazing video--we like all of your videos, but this is one of the best. One of the best travel experiences we have ever had was last summer is a plane trip out of Talkeetna that circled Denali and landed on a glacier. Your trip looked amazing!

Wow! What stunning scenery! I'm impressed that Pops got in the helicopter! Like him, I don't do heights either, but even I couldn't resist a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon and I'm glad I did as it's one of the most memorable things I've ever done. Our world, in places, is truly awe inspiring. Thank you for taking us along, the footage was fantastic!

Prior to leaving, we watched your eight day trip to Alaska several times and I took lots of notes. We were able to go to many of the places y'all went and I know our trip would not have been as enjoyable without your video. Keep on traveling!!
