maarten van der veeke you better start practicing dude! I started skydiving at 17, BASE at 20, paragliding about 12 years ago, and I’ve spent more money then I’d ever be able to work out, time, energy and sacrifice! I’ve lost a lot of friends and loved ones along the way, and seen them land undeployed right in front of me! This isn’t something you just do, it takes years of training, learning, listening, making mistakes that you’re lucky enough to learn from instead of having a memorial video made of you, it’s a lifestyle, not a hobby! What country are you in? And how old are you? I have flown all around the world, and know many extremely skilled and patient teachers who run and operate schools to help people like you start from the ground up and get you started! If you truly want to do this, let me know and I’ll happily guide you in the right direction 👍🏻

When you lean to the side it induces a turn, especially when you get into speedwings. In paragliding they call it "weight-shift", skydivers call it "harness input", but they're the same essential idea; if you don't stay centered and balanced in the harness you'll induce a turn and potentially even a dive.

you've got to learn how to paraglide first. gain a really good understanding of glider control and weather. and then you step down to a speed wing. so just google paragliding schools in your local area.
