Alaska trip Road to Valdez 1
After leaving the Arctic Circle, we drove back to Fairbanks. From there, we continued to head south to the beautiful port town of Valdez-also known as ‘Little Switzerland’ for its dramatic mountain backdrop. The 11-hours scenic drive was absolutely spectacular, especially during the last 30 miles of the highway into Valdez. These final miles offered unobstructed views of snow-capped mountains, ice covered summit lake, spectacular roadside waterfalls, and breathtaking glimpses of Worthington Glacier. The pictures don’t fully capture how stunning the scenery truly is; we were in awe of the natural beauty🤩🏞️!
