As a German I always was a supporter of Brexit. I could not believe my luck when I read the referendum result. I do not want to be in a club with people who can only talk in phrases and can not distinguish the left from the right side of a street. 👍

If 700,000 marched in London on Saturday, 20th October 2018, then how come the official People's vote online petition only has 324,075 as at 6.34pm, Sunday 21st October 2018? The People's vote petition has been a failure and demonstrates the lack of public support in sufficient numbers to justify any further referendum - Fact!

OK let's assume we have a second IN/OUT vote - who's going to head up the IN camp? - Cable? Clegg? Blair? Major? Soubry? Clarke? Geldof? Umuna?... Everyone else has since endorsed Leave. 70% of MPs want to stop Brexit - if they believed the country had changed its mind we would be having a second IN/OUT vote for that very reason.

A mix of leave and remain who want a vote on the final deal and NOT a 2nd Referendum like the Remainers are trying to claim! Face facts we are leaving, yes I agree with a final vote as the Govt have been deliberately screwing this up because they don't want to leave! That needs to stop they are jeopardising this country's future for their own benefit the last 2 years should have been spent mitigating the effects of a No Deal Brexit not stalling to insure they don't Leave!
@rogerbennett9641

The final vote on the deal should be for parliament on a binary choice the deal they get offered or no deal hopefully there are enough Labour snowflakes to vote down the deal if it doesn't give us total independence in the hope they will cause a general election. Even if that happened they wouldn't win if the Tory party chose a brexit believer to lead them.

He says he met people on the march who voted Leave and have now changed their mind. Even if everyone on the march was like that, they weren't but let's say, then that only totals 700,000 people - which was the amount who marched. 17.4m people voted Leave in the Referendum, that's TWENTY FIVE TIMES as many people who marched, and Campbell thinks the views of some people on the march who've since changed their minds is very significant and would justify a second vote? That is bizarre thinking.

We voted to LEAVE, we didn't vote for a DEAL, can't understand why all the fuss. If we do have a second vote and REMAIN win by say 52% to 48% will we then ask for another peoples vote. The whole thing is just one big mess, Mrs May should have never been in charge of breaking a deal as she was in the Remain camp. The EU is not going to give us a good deal no matter what, we just need to cut our ties, forget the divorce bill and move on. The UK's contribution is equivalent to 19 smaller states contribution, the EU will soon strike up a deal in our favour if the government shows some courage.

@rogerbennett9641
@rogerbennett9641 5 жыл бұрын
Sorry I have to disagree, that is what is causing the chaos of today. We have to leave first to negotiate a deal with the EU, they will just keep stringing us along in the belief we will never leave so any deal will be one where there control over us is significant enough to make the leaving meaningless. Obviously there will be disadvantages but I think an independent country like the UK can overcome whatever is thrown at us and prosper, whatever the hardship it will be worth it to regain our freedom. Our government should have realised this 2 years ago and been working like crazy to mitigate any damage, if we leave on March 29th with no deal no money to pay and trade deals already agreed around the world in principle and a trade deal for the EU when they're ready that would be the best we can do. The Irish border is really a strawman and would be a further incentive for the EU to do a deal.

A sovereign state is, in international law, a nonphysical juridical entity that is represented by one centralized government that has sovereignty over a geographic area. International law defines sovereign states as having a permanent population, defined territory, one government, and the capacity to enter into relations with other sovereign states. It is also normally understood that a sovereign state is neither dependent on nor subjected to any other power or state.

Boris and Davis had 2 years in the driving seat. I truly think if it was deliverable, it would have been delivered. Essentially, it boils down to this. Brexit will break the good Friday agreement. And that’s the lock. We’ve run ourselves into a blind alley. A deal won’t get through parliament. A no-deal will decimate the economy. Nobody knows what to do next. May is still playing along but she knows. She absolutely knows. The other players are waiting as public opinion turns. Then they’ll lay down their cards.

Good to see a presenter actually pushing bk on the remainers. And to just say... I voted leave to leave the European cartel because when the next big crash comes I didnt want the country to stil bel under eu rule but thanks to the remoaners and weak leadership that may not happen.

Brexit and a positive relationship with the E.U are not mutually exclusive. After fighting in two world wars our sense of comradery extends beyond the European Union, those ties would not be severed by Britain post-Brexit unless initiated by the E.U.
