Feels like Fatalis' ultimate attack was specifically designed to be overkill so there's no question he's the undisputed king. Pretty much all surekill moves like Ecliptic, Sapphire and Escaton do around 400-500 damage to monsters in these fights, which makes sense cause that's guaranteed to kill a hunter. But with Fatalis they're just ah make it do several ten thousands of damage just cause it's Fatalis.

I love the pure darkness when Alatreon turns into dragon form, especially when fatalis lights it up with his end of the world move

25:16 I like how the moves are perfectly synched, making it look like the expanding ice mist caused Fatalis to flinch but it was just his recover animation. Then Fatalis retreats and creates a firewall so you get the impression he's protecting himself, while he actually just got out of range.

This was just...amazing A fight between two real legends, that ended with both at 1%. Fatalis dealt more than 75000 hp to the alatreon, and the last cone of flame where both were so close to death was just...perfect.

This is why Fatalis remains the god of all monsters. He was nerfed while Alatreon was buffed and he still won.

That first Kingdom Raze did *19,440 total damage* to Alatreon, while the 2nd one did around *33,540 total damage* overall. Altogether, that's *52,980 TOTAL DAMAGE* when both are added up together. That's enough to take out all the HP of a solo-scaled Alatreon outright.

To think Fatalis has to be that nerfed to make the fight closer. It makes the rewatch where there is no playing with the numbers even crazier to think Fatalis can just end another Black Dragons whole career with that bathe the world in flames move

Fatalis, having won his first bout with Alatreon, lays down. His body broken and torn apart, but his mind most of all befuddled that such a being existed. He notices the puddles of water inside his home, the ones not immediately boiled by the intense heat of the battle, walks to one of the bigger puddles, and stares at his reflection in the water, his tongue rolling across his upper jaw. Blinking his only good eye rapidly, he exhales heavily and begins shaking off the dust anf ash on his body like a dog in water as he roars to the sky. This roar is accompanied by another roar that seems almost like... Pain. Pain that Fatalis has to deal with as the broken off eye, horns, and wings, like magic, begin pulsating and vibrating. The horns adorning his broken head slowly grow back to what they were before the fight and the wings gaining back the parts of the membrane that were torn off before Fatalis slouches his body down and takes 5 huge breaths. While his horns have hardened more as a result and he now knows to protect his horns when around an Alatreon, his wings are more likely to be broken yet again should something else come. This is of no concern to him, all he cares about is resting as this ability, while fortunate and a key factor in his immortality, takes a lot out of him and being he hasn't had to use this for so long, ever since that blasted War against the disgusting Humans so so long ago, he is a bit rusty. But an old dog can quickly relearn and remaster old tricks as his left eye, once coated in scars and completely torn out of the socket, materializes back. He opens it slowly and rolls his crystalline eye around, testing to see if the vision is back or not. So far, it seems like it is but one cannot be too optimistic. He slowly rolls his eye up, seeing the clouds and the red sky, looks right seeing the scorched ballistae and melted houses, looks left seeing the roaming ballistae and the large wall, and then looks at the dead Alatreon corpse directly in front of him, horns broken and wings broken. No life can be found in its glazed over opened eyes as Fatalis walks to the corpse, plants a claw on the neck of the corpse, and does something out of character. He uses his other claw, the left claw to be more precise, to reach for the eyes of Alatreon and grabs the eyelids of it, pulling them down before grabbing it by the neck with said claw, rearing back on his hind legs with the corpse limp and lifeless on his left arm. He stares at the corpse's face for quite some time as he waddles to the edge of Castle Schrade in order to drop the corpse into the abyss below, then his eyes widen in surprise as the eyelids of Alatreon shoot open in red gleaming glory. Alatreon chomps down on Fatalis' hand, making him roar and chuck him aside as Alatreon stays aloft, flapping his wings and looking at Fatalis with a new hellbent hatred. Fatalis sees the malice in its eyes, and readies himself, but soon sees that a black cloud encompasses Alatreon, and the sounds of a fight echo in it. Soon, he is met with a blacker version of Alatreon standing over the even more broken and bruised body of the Alatreon he just fought. The Alatreon atop shoves the corpse off the cliff with a powerful swipe of his right claw and almost grins at Fatalis, his upper jaw vibrating and his wings flapping excitedly at the thought of a new kill. Fatalis sees the Alatreon corpse fly off the edge and narrows his eyes, roaring at the doppelganger with a new hellbent fury. He goes back and tries to do his cone, but realizes he exerted far too much during the first fight AND the healing right after as the cone barely even comes out! But, even still, he will stop at NOTHING to kill this... This thing, this hellspawn. It challenges his turf and his THRONE by even EXISTING near him. He showed respect for the corpse of Alatreon, a rare achievement indeed and actually the first he ever did it, but it is soon crumpled by the malice of the thing in front of him, inciting a never before felt WRATH within Fatalis. How dare it make a mockery of his rare chance to show respect! How dare it!! He may be weakened, he may be at a huge disadvantage, but this being will NOT take him down! HE IS THE MIGHTIEST IN THE WORLD! HE IS THE DRAGON OF LEGEND! He shall show this shadow to RESPECT the corpse he so apathetically tossed aside with a Labour of PAIN, very slowly and AGONIZING pain! With a charge from the shadow and a charge from Fatalis, grabbing each other by their claws with Fatalis slamming the shadow to the side and the shadow instantly changing into Ice Mode, round 2.... Begins!!

It's still so hard to believe that Alatreon and Fatalis are pretty much the same size.

Buah, amezing fight between this two dragons, and that darkness when Alatreon goes for Draco was a really good addition for make this more epic Nice fight!

Fatalis:" *Laughs* Even with enhancement you still couldn't defeat me!"

Even as it is a rematch, its funny to see the diffrent nature of these two monsters. Alatreon is a black dragon and thus feared and respected, even from other elders. His elemental mastery and ability to combo diffrent elements is second to no-one. However, it seems that it can only do so little on physical side and often uses elements to boost its attacks on melee. (Almost feels like it gets little paniced while its elemental shenanigans do not just one shot its foe.)Fatalis on other hand, is much more balanced one in terms of fighting style.(his provoking stand looks like he mocks foes to just charge right in front of his danger zone) He is deadly mix of long,slow fire breaths which take some windup and quick bursts of spits and claws. However, it looked that Fata was just playing with Ala, just to give kid a sporting chance. He almost chips 30% its health in one big fire breath. I think it is suffice to say that Fata deserves his title as this god-tier monster.

Now that's got to be one of the best battles in the history of the channel!

I wonder how this fight would've gone if Escaton Judgement wasn't so weak against other monsters. Both times I notice that Alatreon puts up a good fight, even getting in the lead at some point, but then once Fatalis uses his ultimate its pretty much over seeing as it just erases anything. Even if you're gonna nerf Fatalis, it really doesn't help much when his ultimate is still broken lol. Maybe if EJ was as good as it was on hunters then this fight could've gone a different direction but yeah.

I like to think that this is how the story of the first fight, and this one. Fatalis rests in Castle Schrade, a few weeks after defeating a Safijiiva in the Secluded Valley. It has not fought a monster with power like that almost ever. It was completely healed by now from the injuries it sustained from The Sapphire Star. It holds its wings in a circle around him like a Count's cape, sleeping. The rain dripping down from the wings of The Black Dragon. Occasionally looking out at the sun go down like a dying candle flame. Almost like it was waiting for something, or rather someone... Alatreon arrives at the Secluded Valley after a long flight. It sensed another Safijiiva after it killed the first one a few months ago. It was surprised and angry to see that this one was already dead. Or rather was killed. The body of The Giant Red Dragon layed there. The scales burnt to a crisp. Half of the body was ashes, with claw and bite marks on what was left of it. Alatreon took to the air and breathed fire all over the Valley in a rage. Roaring with anger. It landed on the ground, looking at the body of the Safi'jiiva with bloodshot eyes of fury that couldn't even be compared to the burning of The Sapphire Star's skin. It smelled the body to see if it can pick up on the sent of what killed it. Surprisingly it wasn't hunters. It was another monster. More specifically, another Black Dragon... Alatreon flies overseas in search of this fellow Black Dragon. It wasn't another Alatreon that it was looking for as there was only burn marks on the body from fire. No traces of any other elements on the body of Safi'jiiva. It may be something even more powerful. It traced the sent to a gigantic, old Castle. It sees the other Black Dragon in an arena shaped part of the castle. Like it was waiting for him. Fatalis notices Alatreon fly down to him and waits for him to reach his position. Alatreon lands on the stone floor of the castle and comes face-to-face with Fatalis. The two Black Dragons both sense the massive power of each other. Fatalis and Alatreon lock bloodshot eyes as red as the sky itself. Almost like a starring contest but this contest wasn't to see who will blink first. Well, at least only who will blink first. The stand off ends with Alatreon attacking first. An epic fight ensues. The two Black Dragons fight for hours and hours with nothing but explosions, fire, lightning, ice, dragon, water and roars being thrown back and forth between them. Mainly fire as they both possess the element, but it's clear that Fatalis is far more powerful with his flame even though Alatreon has mastered his fire. They claw, bite, slam, and blast each other and Alatreon shows Fatalis his mastery of all the elements with its ultimate attack that it used on Safi'jiiva multiple times looking like a supernova of fire or ice. Eventually, Fatalis has enough and shows Alatreon his true power. He unleashes his own ultimate attack in the form of a massive blast of fire. Completely eclipsing all of Alatreon's previous attacks, even his ultimate attack. Alatreon is crippled by the flame. His Black scales turned to ash. He's still standing, but barely. Fatalis is still in good shape and his black scales are nowhere near as damaged as Alatreon. At this point, the fight is a guaranteed victory for Fatalis. Alatreon may be crippled by the fire but if he's going to lose, he'll go down swinging. Alatreon tries to use his ultimate attack one last time but he just can't break through Fatalis' Black Dragon scales. As the fight continues the whole world turns to darkness. As if the sun disappeared. Possibly as a result from the fight of the two Black Dragons. Fatalis blast more and more fire on Alatreon, trying to end the fight. Alatreon just can't keep fighting and falls to the ground after the second blast of flame. For good measure, Fatalis does one more blast of flame on Alatreon's body after he hit the ground. Fatalis is injured but still standing and not even at half of his full potential of power and energy. Alatreon, The Blazing Black Dragon himself, is dead... He may have lost his life but in his death, he gained something that few other beings have ever earned. He earned Fatalis' respect... Fatalis, having won his fight with Alatreon, lays down. His body broken and damaged. He's surprised that such a being existed. He then roars. This roar is accompanied by Pain. His. Broken horns on his head slowly grow back to what they were before the fight and the wings gaining back what was torn off before Fatalis lays down and breathes. His horns have hardened, but his wings may brake again. This is of no concern to him, all he cares about is resting. His eye is completely torn out of the socket but regenerates. He knows that he can regenerate back from a single scale. His eye has fully regenerated and opens it slowly and tries to see if the vision is back or not. So far, it seems like it has returned. He slowly rolls his eye around to see the darkness return to day. He sees the body of Alatreon in front of him with horns and wings broken. No life can be found in its eyes as Fatalis walks over to his dead body. He then looks in Alatreon's eys and plants a claw on the neck of the corpse as a sign of respect. He then pick picks up Alatreon in his jaws by the neck and drags him to the edge of Castle Schrade as a sort of grave. Before he can drop him down the cliff, he is surprised as he sees another Alatreon fly down to Castle Schrade. It shoots a fireball to the ground in front of Fatalis which then explodes in a trident shape an knocks Fatalis back. The new Alatreon, called The Deathly Alatreon, lands on the ground of the edge of the cliff in front of the first Alatreon and looks at Fatalis with anger. Fatalis sees the malice in its eyes, and readies himself. The Deathly Alatreon is a darker version of Alatreon. Like it was covered in the darkness of world during the first fight. The Deathly Alatreon plants his front claws on the body of the Black Dragon he just fought. The Deathly Alatreon shoves the corpse off the cliff with his right claw and narrows his eyes at Fatalis. Fatalis sees the body of Alatreon fall of the cliff of Castle Schrade. Fatalis, with a newfound fury, roars at The Deathly Alatreon. He tries to use a blast of flame at his new adversary but realizes he used to much energy during the first fight and barely any flame comes out. But he will stop at nothing to kill this new enemy. The respect he showed for Alatreon was a something that few monsters have ever gained, but he will show no such thing to this embarrassment of a Black Dragon in front of him. A new fury has been made within Fatalis. This Deathly Alatreon would not show respect, so neither will he. Fatalis may be weakened, but he will not stop until this embarrassment is whipped of the face of the world. He will show this monster true, agonizing pain... The second battle ensues. Fatalis is at a huge disadvantage with his scales being damaged but he has one thing that The Deathly Alatreon doesn't have. He knows what he'll do before he even does it. He studied the moves of the first Alatreon and he can use what he knows against this darker version. Both Fatalis and The Deathly Alatreon give all they got unleashing both their ultimate attacks over and over again. The world turned to darkness again but much longer this time just like the fight before. They fight for hours upon hours and near the end, they are both extremely injured. Fatalis slightly less so as he fought with more hatred and rage. Fatalis decides to use his ultimate attack one more time. He flies up yet again and for the last time. He again unleashes a flame that eclipses everything that The Deathly Alatreon has done. This Alatreon is crippled by the final ultimate blast of flame. His darker black scales turned to ash like the Alatreon before him. Fatalis is still injured so his adversary tries to finish the fight but Fatalis uses another weakened blast from his fire and kills The Deathly Alatreon. Fatalis has won... Despite his serious injuries, Fatalis roars in victory so loud that it may have fallen on the ears of the monsters in The New World. Unlike the other Alatreon, he doesn't show this one any respect and consumes what's left of The Shadow Alatreon. Mostly out anger of the disrespect to the other Alatreon, but also to heal quicker. With It's scales damaged and as the darkness fades Fatalis then returns to slumber. It will heal eventually but it's energy is spent and needs to rest. It has kept its crown as The God of all Monsters and the most powerful Black Dragon.

This is a 10, hands down a 10. This is easily one of the best fights in the channel and the most destructive fight there is. I think a lore wise fight between these 2 black dragons would be very similar to how this fight went, but at a grander scale. The only problem I had is that Alatreon didn’t break Fatalis head like the last time. But overall, this is a very solid fight as I finally got to see full power Fatalis against Alatreon. I feel that this could have gone either way for any of these monsters. Also I noticed Fire Escaton does more consistent damage than Ice Escaton. I feel that the damage dealt on a monster by Escaton Judgment really depends on how weak that monster is to the opposing element. It's interesting to think that if there was an actual quest that had you hunt both of them, Alatreon would almost always die first. The accumulated damage of hunters trying to stop Escaton and Fatalis' "Demise of Schrade" would shred Alatreon in no time.

That fight was really close at the end, but Fatalis coming out on top was nothing unexpected of the legendary dragon. Probably something that worked in Fatalis’ favour was Alatreon going into ice active, which made Alatreon weaker to Fatalis’ flames.

I think this Fight was unfair because Fatalis only had 25000 HP and Alatreon 75000 HP. Schrades Demise is much weaker than before and Fatalis Dragonbreath range is so small. But Fatalis the most powerful creature has defeated Alatreon despite the unfair fight.

I love how they slowly dip deeper into the darkness.

素晴らしい!!まさかやり直してくれるとは！！ めちゃくちゃいい勝負だった、でもミラボレアスをあれだけ弱体化したにもかかわらず勝ったミラボレアスには驚いたし改めてミラボレアスの強さを思い知りましたね、しいて言うなら運悪く角を破壊できなかったアルバトリオンは２回目のブレスの時点でかなり不利でしたね、でもあそこまで追い上げれたのはすごいと思います。角を壊していたらどっちが勝っていたか分かりませんでした。素晴らしい回だったと思います👏

never realized how similar in size these two were. fatalis long neck and tail make it look bigger than it actually is

Alatreon just flinches way, WAY too much. I hear that little whimper so much, it's hard to imagine he would stand a chance even buffed. Between that and fatalis not only having that absurd ult but also having almost no flinch by comparison, alatreon just can't get enough damage in... And the fact that HIS ult doesn't seem to do damage at all... >_>

やっぱりボレアスの性能が強すぎるよね。長時間多段ヒットのブレスが強い。あとアルバだけスーパーアーマー無いから何度も技を中断されるのも辛いね。どうやってもシステム上ボレアスを倒せるモンスはいないと思う。

最後のエスカトンが当たってたらかてあかもな〜 火力も同じくらいでお互いの必殺技に見越しての体力調整…いいジャン 扇ブレスの弱体化は凄まじいけど お互いのモーション的にしょうがないのかな？

In my head, I'd like to believe that if Alatreon were to somehow gain complete elemental stability, then he'd be able to beat his older cousin. And although I kinda expected the outcome of this fight, it's still a little heartbreaking to see my all-time favorite monster lose. Though the fight was exceptionally close. Good job Alatreon! You'll always be #1 in my heart!

Now that I think about it, they could do a Monster Hunter fighting game. You know where the monsters are the combatants and have similar fighting mechanics like street fighter, or any other fighting game.

I'm amazed at the amount of damage fatalis did he got jipped from a lot of his cone fires in beginning and his aerial flames didnt do damage when alatreon was lower on health but still fatalis killed him thats crazy great video and fight
