Sky News host Caleb Bond says Australians are likely to see another rate rise or two before the next election under the Albanese Labor government.
“In all likelihood he is going to go into an election with at least one, probably two interest rate rises between now and that point in time,” Mr Bond said.
“So, he won’t be able to crow about the great work he has done to repair the economy, Albanese has literally nothing to point to.”

A 14% rise in basic groceries is certainly nothing to “crow” about either. Groceries don’t go up that much in one year if the economy was being “repaired”.

Imagine living with rationed power. When Ramos was elected president, he solved the nations crisis in 2 years. A third world country leader solving a national power crisis in two years. 1:31 I agree with Stuart.Labor have done NOTHING / ZILCH to lower inflation,in fact their actions have accelerated it.They have wasted taxpayers money recklessly,had three.pay rises in two years ( TWO YEARS ) and refused to act by cutting excise when petrol hit $2.20 per lt a few months back.At least the Coalition acted on excise when they governed.For people of their standing Labor politicians are just hopeless economic managers. @@stuartgraham8946

It is impossible to repair the economy by handing out wage increases and free money. The inflationary impact devalues these increases and puts pressure on all aspects of our lives. Therefore, interest rates must rise to maintain value. I learned this as a basic principle of cause and effect. Can anyone point out what has decreased in price across the board? If rates do not rise, it suggests collusion between the RBA governor, the RBA board, and the Labor Party. This issue must be exposed and addressed.
