This transformation should've happened a long time ago, if the politicians who took over after the fall of communism would not aid into the destruction of what was already built by the people with their volunteer almost like slave work for 50 years and the 1997 pyramid scheme allowed by previous criminal government where everyone lost their money and civil war erupted. Poor Albanian people have been working hard everywhere and are coming back to invest in their own homeland now, cause before there was a mess with basic security as well. Now it's safer than anywhere else in world for the general population. Thanks for coming to Albania!

I have been going to Albania almost every other year. I did the math and I spend any amount between 10-15K$ per each time: hotels, food, rental cars, gifts. etc. There are roughly 2 million Albanians abroad who visit Albania, maybe not all of them spend that kind of money but at least they do in a few thousands. Also being abroad for the last 20-30 years, there is a huge wave of Albanians who plan to retire back home and invest that money back home. Thanks for your video. PS: As you already know by now, Albania was fully powered with electricity in 1975, while parts of Mississippi, or other places were not at that time. I know this b/c I met farmers from Mississippi (whites) telling me stories and challenges as farmers. In other words, sending power into rural areas is a challenge for all countries.

Such an underrated country. I've been three times now and will definitely be back! A lot of the new money flowing back in is from people working braod doing both legal andnot so legal "business" ;-). But ya know, where there's demand for certain not so legal things in other countries, Albania is cashing in and why shouldn't they? Great people - very friendly & welcoming but I really wouldn't wanna get on the wrong side of one of the mafia guys.

@@AdventureElliot of course not! US helped the albanians in the Kosovo War, killing serbs and make them move away from their land so albanians see them like liberators. Greece and Serbia traditionally have excellent bilateral relations, I never forget how good and gentle were the people of Belgrade when I visited the country back in 1996, three years before the bombardment of the city by the government of Bill Clinton.

@@_juan.joao_ the balkans are a touchy topic .. I’ve never seen a place with so many alliances as well as enemies close by. Until I visit Serbia I can’t say anything about them but in general, if you leave politics aside, every Balkan country has something wonderful to offer..
@GjinBueShpata3 ай бұрын
There is nothing pathetic about that, after all USA saved us from extinction by our “dear “ neighbors namely Serbs and you Greeks. What is pathetic is that in every video that promotes Albania there will be a Greek or Serbian talking bullshit in the comments . Better siding with the USA than Russia (like Greeks do in secret 😉) 🇦🇱🇺🇸

The answer to the development we see everywhere atm. Study the 500 year global 18.6 yr land real estate cycle. The 18.6-Year Cycle: A Historical Overview: The cycle, as theorized by Fred E. Foldvary, suggests a rhythmic ebb and flow in the real estate market every 18 to 20 years. Traditionally, this cycle encompasses four phases: recovery, expansion, hyper supply, and recession.

The Bush Family is distantly related to the Albanian King Zog family & that makes Bush Presidents 1 & 2 very much likeable in Albania. American Born Albanian Blooded Pop Star AVA MAX Was Born & Raised In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, U.S. (1994) She became world famous with her hit song "Sweet But Psycho!" Ava Max's Albanian blooded parents are from Albania; her father, Paul is from Qeparo, Albania and her mother, Andrea, is from Sarandë, Albania. I strongly recommend that you read 'THE ALBANIANS An Ethnic History from Prehistoric Times to the Present' by Edwin E. Jacques who is American born of mixed English/French ethnicity.
