The MS Albatros is sold for scrapping in Alang, India. The Albatros was retired by Phoenix Reisen in 2020 due to the consequences of the Covid 19 pandemic.

The best vacation of my childhood was on this ship. I cruised with her with my family when she was Norwegian Star out of the Port of Houston in the late 90s. I was seven years old. I am now 32.

Lovely old ship which I remember as the Royal Viking Sea and Royal Odyssey as well. She was a really beautiful ship and beautifully designed. R.I. P. Lovely lady

Unwürdiges Ende eines der schönsten Kreuzfahrt Schiffes bin auch mal damit gefahren" Sehr Schade--Warum wurde es kein Musseum Schiff? Einfach nur Traurig" Unworthy end of one of the most beautiful cruise ships I also drove with it "It's a shame - why wasn't it a Musseum ship? Just sad"

Sad ending to a ship that created a lot of happy memories. Sadly time knocks on the hulls of these lovely old ships and it's time to go.
