It depends on the university. As a general rule try to get into any university on the eastern coasts. They are generally better funded and have better reputations than those in the midwest.

I have been residing in the USA for over 10 years and currently hold a Green Card. I work in a mid-level management position at a leading technology firm. If you were to ask me in 2024+, I strongly advise against coming to the USA for a career in computer science/IT. Job opportunities are increasingly shifting towards India, particularly in offshore positions. Currently, there are graduates from prestigious institutions such as MIT, Stanford, and UC Berkeley seeking employment in the USA, leading to intense competition. Additionally, an interesting observation is that my American boss has offered me a promotion if I recruit individuals in India and form a team based there, as it offers a significantly better return on investment.

Guys the $50k tuition fees is for pace university for 2 years as it is private and located in NY, + you can assume $20k for living expenses for 2 years, you can choose another public universities which have low tuition fees and will cost you around $40-45k both tuition fees and living expenses combined

Ritu this was very helpful video. Can you make a video of getting a job on OPT after MS and what happens if H1 visa does not get picked up for 2 years after that? Because then OPT also expires and then there is no H1 visa too. Does the person need to return to India then? What do students repay their big student loans if they have to return to India due to not getting H1 visa picked up

As per PPP 2crores in USA is approx 45Lakhs per annum in India and also we have 30% tax slab in India whereas it will be 40_50% tax slab in USA

Is it possible you can create a video on how to be safe as a tourist while visiting NYC ? I keep reading the crime in city has increased a lot and there are lot of videos on this too. But the students who are going to do pH.d are getting full scholarship from all universities. How? I just wonder. And the students who are going there and getting full scholarship are not all brilliants. Further they are getting TA, RA while doing pH.d are sufficient to provide living cost. After doing pH.d they are getting good salaried jobs and also getting PR after 5-7 years. So doing pH.d is the best way to settle abroad.
