😊Albert Lee, the man who plays with speed of light, and never ever hits the wrong string ❤😅

"Albert can play Clapton but Clapton cannot play Albert".....Love this quote......he and Bill Kirchen (Commander Cody and the Lost Planet Airmen) are just untouchable on the Telecaster!

There's not many who can play like Albert Lee can. He's a fretboard master.

I don't care what guitar he plays. The man is amazing!

Can't believe the muted cheer at the end of this....the audience have just witnessed the master.Albert Lee is the Lionel Messi of guitar - he's from another planet !! His fingers move faster than the speed of light -Einstein was wrong !

Saw Albert play several times in the 80s as a member of Eric Clapton's band, and to be honest, he was way better than his boss.

His Boss at the time was an alcoholic and probably worst for wear. Still I would see an Albert Lee gig every night if I could…with Clapton.. I’ve seen good gigs and gigs that were not so great.

@@fretboardmaster70 Agreed seen Clapton at his best and worst -Albert Lee better guitar player and far nicer bloke.

There were two solo's that I'd tried to play as a young guitarist and I was shure I was learning Clapton and though I did find the sound quite different from the other solos I was proud of myself.. (Just One Night EC). Growing up I learned I was wrong and had the pleasure of meeting Albert when my band played as a support act of the Everly Brothers in Hannover Germany but man was he way ahead of us all even when he was turning gray. And so gentle and friendly towards innocent fools like me. Hats off.

He's a lovely bloke in person. There is not a nasty bone in his body. He has played rhythm guitar for Clapton, but as they say, "Albert can play Clapton but Clapton cannot play Albert" Listen to Albert's version of " Tears from Heaven". Big Brian

Craziest part is he's playing that many notes that fast, and still manages to leave space for everyone else, he's inhuman

Re, "Albert shows us all what can be done with just a flat pick and maybe a 2nd finger" He tried to show us but the artsy director and camera men did their best to screw that.

Yes, Albert is the master but who is the hottie on the fiddle?
@djangotaylor11 жыл бұрын
The sound of the electric guitar comes from the fingers and brain of the player!...not the guitar....thats why he gets the same sound out of anything he plays!...thats also the reason why?...a Fender Stratocaster...sounds so different in the hands of Hank Marvin, Jimi Hendrix, Mark Knofler, etc etc...guitarist's who buy 'signature' models!..will always sound like themselves!...unfortunately!...
@M_Michel3 ай бұрын
You're right ! But regarding Albert, it's so amazing because he had made a "copy" ... of his old "original" Czech strat copy with which he began ! But ... wiring and pickups principle are those of Leo, NOT from the Czech ;-) !

i would agree with you, but on this one it is the fender 50th anniversy. fender. would look a bit bad for fender if everybody was not playing fender guitars at this gig.

I’ve met Albert and chatted with him one to one, he is a great guy, I’ve seen him live with Hogan’s Heroes and Clapton but there must be a monitoring issue on this gig as he is completely out of time with the band, or the band is out of time with his delay setting. BTW if you didn't know Albert is a great piano player as well :-)

Can't understand why he's always playin' a Strat or more often his own Musicman model, when the obvious, and in my view, the only choice is a TELE!
