Uderzo is and always will be my inspiration. There is no better example of how to make a drawing funny and at the same time so true to reality.

Un excellent dessinateur, certes, mais un bien piètre scénariste. Son dernier Astérix était totalement détestable, les autres qu'il a écrit à peine lisibles. Son dernier éclair de lucidité a été de passer la main à d'autres artistes.

Melkor Sykkxa il be faut pas oublier qu’il a énormément vieilli. Certes, l’album est mauvais mais j’applaudis l’audace d’avoir continué l’aventure jusqu’à 77 ans. Et des albums comme le grand fossé sont magnifiques même si ils on étés scénarisés par uderzo.

@@Oscareuh Le grand fossé et le suivant (l'Odyssée, je crois) sont les seuls bons qu'il a écrit à mon avis. Après c'est de mal en pire. Par contre, je le répète, c'était un très très grand dessinateur.

@@melkorsykkxa5078, Astérix et Obelix ne se limite pas au dernier album d'Uderzo qui certes n'est pas une réussite, mais est surtout le seul faux-pas au bout d'une grande carrière bien remplie de dessinateur et de scénariste talentueux.

What's that he's using to ink with, near the start? It looks like a felt tip, but the variety of line he's getting is like what you'd get from a fude [brush pen].
