Wesker's final boss fight was great and his human form allowed us to perform some of the best close quarters combat in the series. RE5 did justice to Wesker's boss fights.

If you think about it, his ideology of the weak must die and only the strong survive comes from his own personal experience. All the other children of Project W died or were render obsolete in comparison to him. He was the true survivor of the Wesker Children, the strongest of them. However, Alex was the most clever.

He grew in a place where even the fact of his existane is hang up on a thread of his Genes and his utility for his masters who replaced his caregivers.

I like to think that Wesker made a clone and stayed in the shadows. He became so unhinged by the fifth game that I found it suspicious. Also there was an Easter egg in Umbrella Corps, that indicated that Wesker was still alive.

Both Wesker's were insane and lost themselves to their god complexes the same as Spencer did. It is ironic in that they both held Spencer in contempt for being arrogant and blind to his own shortcomings when both of them were exactly like him. Alex's experiment was not a success as Natalia shares the consciousness for the body and the experiences would be different as would the morality of the persona. A copy is never exactly like an original, but differs in small ways that increase with each copy. Further the copy lacks the resources that the original enjoyed thanks to Spencer's patronage. She does not have the connections, finances, facilities or staff to repeat the process again. The real Alex died on that island, a raving lunatic lost in delusions of grandeur just lik her brother Albert and her father Spencer.

I also have a question for you, and maybe it would be a nice topic to explore: What do you think about Capcom keeping Albert alive through the various games, even when they said he was confirmed dead? What I mean is that in every game since his death, he's been mentioned or responsible in some fashion, has had DLC content made for him, and has even had weapons in-game named after him. Heck, even Jake - who I think was to compensate for the poor death of Wesker - was merely fan service. What do you make of all this? Do you think Capcom is doing just that with fan service? Or, do you think there could possibly be plans to have Wesker come back somehow, given that they could be remaking the older games? I still think it's possible, especially because he was the puppet master behind just about everything. But I also think a lot of people were upset with how carelessly they took Wesker out. I understand if it was his time to go, that's fine, but the way they did it was beyond sad lol I would really like to hear your thoughts on this. 😎😊

Yeah I even have the resident evil 1 movie umbrella ringtone n the all new revamped RE2 2019 Wallpaper save screen of my boy n gal Leon S K n Claire R. I grew up watching n playing RE so it kind of goes with the territory along with AVP n MK. But again thanks for the rundown on A. Great video! Wesker was a great plot twist in RE1 and the further they went into his backstory the more wild the writers got. I personally don't like what they did with him in 5. Informative!

Imagine seeing weskers world visition, it would be something unbelievable. Or even playing a gane in a time line that wesker gets his way and u play maybe 100yrs into the future after the uroboros

Oh great.. this story I hated this story so much, like they just threw it on him without it never being established in previous games. Making it seem like WESKER was never his last name to begin with?? Only to kill him off to keep his name 'alive'.

I agree also it takes away from what a great villian he was, like everything he did from 1, CVX and 4 wasn't all his idea but programmed into him. To be fair his new VA DC Dougless did him no favours either he just sounded like a stereo typical English villian and not the bad arse he was in CV and resident evil 4.

7:44 I like stories revolving around megalomaniacs and characters with god complexes. This reminds me of the way Peter Weyland met his end at the hands of the Engineer. Both Weyland and Spencer became crotchety old men who devoted their entire lives to transcending mortality and, at the eve of achieving godhood, were summarily shot down. It's a bit like the story of Icarus.
