I have 2 years of work experience in India in NOC 2221 (Biotech technician). After my education, I plan to pursue a job in Marketing/Operations. My question is, should I do one year more studies or look for a job in Alberta and apply for the Accelerated Tech pathway program if I have a relevant job offer? Is it okay if my previous NOC is on the list for the tech pathway program and the job I get is also in one of the NOC in the list but are different from each other or should it be the same NOC only? Actually, i just moved from Ontario to Alberta and started my new job in shaw communications as a business technical specialist in january 2023. Also, I already have 1 year experience in noc 2282 in Ontario. But at shaw my probation period for job is 6 months so do i have to complete 6 months first and then i can apply for Alberta tech pathway. Or i can apply right away. I would really appreciate if you can help me and look forward to hearing from you. Thank you

Does employer need to be from tech industry? I mean what if employer is tax consultant and has tech opening related to tax systems? Does it qualify? Also can somebody still apply for alberta pnp even if they have been working in different province in tech related jobs?

QUESTION : Do you need to be in Alberta before you get PR or you can move after you get PR? (If you already have job in a company and one of their branches in Alberta and they are willing to transfer you and provide you with everything you need for PNP)

If the NOC code selected is 2173 which is a regulated occupation in Ontario, and we claim foreign experience for this, do we need to register for any licensing in Ontario when submitting the application? As per what I read on the website, only if you claim work experience from Ontario you need proof of licensing.

Hello sir, this is one of the requirement under accelerated tech pathway . a base monetary wage or salary that: meets provincial minimum wage, and meets or exceeds the requirements set out in your LMIA, or if you are LMIA exempt or do not have an LMIA, meets or exceeds the lowest starting wage for your occupation across all industries in Alberta. Is just job offer enough ..? Or LMIA is also required ..?

Hi Mr Kubeir, My current employer in US is trying to figure out how to get me migrated to canada on my request. They are thinking to employ me through a partner company from Alberta on work visa as they do not have their presence there. If they provide a job offer can I add it to my express entry profile to be eligible for this program?
