Alberta Aviation Museum.
The museum is located on-site at the former Edmonton City Centre (Blatchford Field) Airport on 11410 Kingsway Avenue and is housed in the historic Hangar 14. These hangars, were built of wooden timbers of British Columbia fir, double-long, double-wide hangar from the World War II era. The Alberta Aviation Museum is dedicated to keeping Edmonton’s rich aviation history alive. It has more than 30 aircraft on display, a restoration area, gift shop and simulators. A, historic museum and monument to modern Canadian aviation, this museum is definitely worth a visit. What a gem to find here!
