Thank you for sharing this, it brings back some interesting memories 😊 My brother and I, lived on what was called Albion Road at the time, and we used to always walk down to the Albion Falls, and loved the hidden old highways, that were close, but still walkable, and also loved to go right down into the falls, down to the bottom, and through to the other side, which was quite a trek, even for us youngsters, but we loved it, as it was always so fascinating, and at least one of us, would get a few bloodsuckers that attached to us, for the ride LOL 🤣 We would usually bring friends and make a day of it, and always told the Torso story, to make sure we freaked each other out, and would pretend to be looking for John's skeletal remains, that may have been left behind........Good Memories, thank you for taking me back there!!! I would love you to do a Haunting Special on the Whithern Castle on Jackson Street in Hamilton, as apparently that home is quite haunted, and when I took a tour of the home, I had goose bumps, prickly hair, frenzied energy, all through the home, especially the basement area, where one of the sons, who never married, lived and died there........The link to the Wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whitehern also, if you wanted to see an old photo of the area in and around the Albion Falls, in that era, check this link, it shows how it looked at the time, and here are some great link, and the 5th pic down, was the hidden old highway, we used to get all creeped out over, and now it is so grown over, it only looks like a foot path hamiltonparanormal.com/albion.html Just joined your channel & looking forward to more of your posts 😊 :

Interesting video! I grew up, and still live, just a couple of km from Albion Falls, and used to access it from the old "Indian Trail" almost daily in the summer. In those days, the trails in the actual gorge were pretty stable and safe. There were several more historical deaths around there than this story mentions, and at least one suicide over nearby (half a km) Buttermilk Falls in the late 50's or early 60's. I've often wondered exactly where the J Dick remains were found, and if the 1 km you mention is accurate, that would put it roughly across the street from the current hockey arena's driveway. Makes sense too - the kids who found it were probably wandering down the "Indian Trail". In those days it would have been a pretty deserted spot to dump a body unobserved. It's important for anyone who might be attracted to Albion by this video to know that the gorge is no longer safe at all. The shale rock has eroded badly on the sides, and there have been in very recent years further deaths, many serious injuries and several rope rescues each year, of people who came to admire the "City of Waterfalls". The platform where you took your photo is safe to stand on but please never make the mistake of thinking that's a trail below it. It may look like one, and once was, but now it leads rather abruptly to a straight drop. People have died trying to get selfies. Please know that it is illegal to enter the gorge at all - not from the top, which is fenced, nor from the Indian trail below. It's not only the drop that's dangerous, but because of urban intensification further along the water table, the falls can be a little trickle one moment and just a bit of rain can cause flash flooding down there - flooding forceful enough to have undermined and shifted those 3 MASSIVE house-sized rocks at the bottom of the falls in the last decade. There's quite a fine for disregarding the fences and signs, and bylaw officers are there a lot. It breaks my heart to say it, because there was a time I could scamper up and down there barefoot and in the dark - but please stay out of the gorge or you risk becoming another one of the hauntings there.
