the best way to get into a rich man's pocket is to promise more riches. I dont mind scammers in the mmo space, sure they are scummy and bad, but they simply belong there.. you need evil and bad guilds, you need good guilds, and you need traders and merchants. all part of the eco system. and the fact that the scammers make this work, i mean credits to them.

i Imagine that a large portion of the speculators and resellers that made money off this "scam" had little or nothing to do with the phony photo. It probably would not take many people buying at amounts of 10k to create an artificial demand for the energy and drive the price up. In other words not many people had to be tricked in order for the prices to suffer artificial inflation and the majority of the buying and selling was regular market forces reacting to a suddenly scarce resource.

People who felt for this scam, properly had to much silver anyways, so no real harm done :)

You can do this monthly in CL my brother just go put 20 mill on every house you can then the homes you win (average 2-3 at 20 bids or 4 at 35 same bid number) as soon as auction is over clear lots (10 mill a prop) list for 60 m they will sell in 24 hours at 2x or 1.5 x depending hope nobody sees this lol kidding

Ya absolutely love it for the first time I think and it shows that Albion Online is not just a game and high level of mind and intellect is at play which makes the game more interesting...
