IDUBILU's origin story is actually very wholesome. Seventeen were hosting a livestream before Darling's release when one of the fans commented "I don't understand but I love you" and Hoshi read it. He was so touched by that comment that he started discussing it right there with the members about how there are so many of their fans who probably don't understand what they are talking about but still follow them coz they love them. He told Woozi that he was inspired by it and wanted to make a song out of it. Carats after that forgot about this incident but were reminded again of the stream when the tracklist got released. The fan who commented revealed how happy she was that her comment inspired Seventeen to create a track and all the Carats congratulated and thanked her lol. About Seventeen having R&B tracks, they have some chill and sexy songs but the only R&B track other than IDUBILU that comes to my mind is Same Dream, Same mind and Same night by Vocal unit from the album Your Choice. It is a R&B ballad and one of my top 3 fav seventeen songs of all time. I would love to see you reacting to it or its live performance. You will not be disappointed.

I don't know if you already know this, but "I Don't Understand But I Luv U" was actually inspired by Carats!!! It was once commented by an International Carat on one of their lives and the members(especially Hoshi) was so fascinated and grateful about the meaning of it that they wanted to make a song out of it and then the rest history ig😌🩷

oh my god, one, thank you! but also, regarding r&b they do have a track on one of their earlier EP's, so i'm excited for you to delve into it (I think you are going from early to late so it'll be a bit until you get there lol, it's on the mini album, 'Your Choice'). 13:45 like I'm really sorry but a few days before this album came out i watched Tarzan and everytime this part comes up it remindes of one scene where the animals are destroying the camp while singing and playing on glasses and stuff and I can't unhear it😭

I loved this album. I don’t understand but I love you is my favourit b-side this year, like shadow was last year. FML almost always makes me cry. I loved what you said about people having to act as if everything‘s alright even if it’s not. I feel like having a hard time mentally, having anxiety,… has become a casual thing to say so no one really takes you serious. I‘m glad they can express their selve trough a song and then there’s the last sentence in the MV: Inspired by everyone around the world. Telling everyone, like we get you it’s the same for all of us. From the very first moment I heard April Shower I felt like that song was To You's little brother, I love both and def top SVT bsides for me. Since FML is in my opinion SVT's top best albums and after Coups said Seventeenth Heaven is gonna be even greater, I'm a little bit scared not gonna lie 😅

I don't understand but I luv is literally the song of the year for me, I. just. cant. get. enough. The instrumental, the vocals, the lyrics ugh. Also, FML is a really sensitive song for me, I tear up every single time because of how close it hits. As for dust, I smiled so hard when you said it's giving retro bcz that was the exact same thing I said when i first heard it, it somehow feels so nostalgic which perfectly ties up with the lyrics reminiscing about a past lover. This was my first comeback with them and I was actually overwhelmed by how good it was. FML is definitely my favourite album that came out this year, no skips (except FML but that's for a different reason). It's probably because the production on this album is sooooo good (shout out to our man woozi) like listen to it patiently and the fact that NO two songs are similar, the range is insane!
