I am a 65 year old grandmother who has taken my now 18 year old granddaughter to all of his concerts since he began. I have always admired his God given talent. I saw him at the last Purpose tour and it was sad to see how empty he appeared to be in comparison to all of his previous shows. I told my granddaughter we need to pray for his health not looking good. Hoped he would not become another statistic. I also have suffered with a lot of demons and recognized the signs. I am so proud of how he is letting people see his struggles. It helps all people and all ages (just like me) feel like maybe we stand a chance of coming out the other side. What a beautiful soul you are Justin. God speed. Praying for your continued healing by our Heavenly Father.

The most poignant bit of this for me was when he held the photo saying that he was just a human being experiencing emotion and that that’s okay. I loved how much peace he seemed to be with himself in that moment. It was such a moment of vulnerability and authenticity. Also Hailey “whether you are Justin Bieber or doing a 9-5 job, we all have bad moments in our day” I love how they are sharing their imperfect moments. Life can be up and down and it’s about finding peace in the chaos. Especially resonated with me as I did my 9-5 job today and there were moments that were difficult and emotionally draining today but seeing a whole room of residents sparkle and come to life as I played music from their era and handed them instruments and danced with so much enthusiasm (I’m a terrible dancer btw!) that they themselves got up and danced and laughed and sang taught me what life is all about and that is about sharing and giving out love (I’m an activities coordinator for sixty residents with dementia). Thanks Justin and Hailey for daring to bare all. You helped me unwind after a really busy day at work. 💖

This was beautiful. Showing these parts of the not so glamorous and perfect world that we all just ASSUME someone in your position lives in an every day is incredibly eye opening. There are so many people out there, myself included, who struggle with growing up and maturing and learning how to cope with our emotions because we weren't given the tools to learn how to regulate or create a schedule for ourselves. These days I cry over everything and it feels so good sometimes...I pushed away my pain for so long and now it's finally caught up to me and it's been a major shock...sometimes I don't know who I am and sometimes it feels like I get a glimpse of myself in small ways. The best thing is that we can reinvent ourselves and surround ourselves with good people who care about our well being and want the best for us. I wish you well on your journey to good health. I think so many fans just don’t get it, they have like no compassion, or they don’t show empathy and honestly they have no right to judge him because 85% of people couldn’t handle what he goes through in his everyday life. Like he’s got no privacy, cameras are constantly in his face wether in his personal life or when he’s just out trying to do regular things. I know as an empath that I truly feel for famous artists because they deal with so much more than people actually know. He’s got the paps constantly following him everywhere he goes and that’s horrible having to deal with that every time you leave your home. People need to try to put themselves in his shoes and think to themselves “would I want people doing this to me, could I handle this”. He’s got such a constantly busy life every day and has a lot of pressure to deal with. But he has an incredibly supportive, loving, compassionate wife. Haley has definitely been a wonderful influence on him and is his number 1 fan/supporter. He’s a lucky man to have such an amazing woman as his wife! 💯💗☺️
