It is not like this at all. Look at the sketches from 2005 to 2015 to understand the big difference between the casts of these periods. Besides, I'm not referring to the 80s and 90s of SNL.

I watched the whole time that guys like Mike Myers and David Spade and Adam Sandler and Dana Carvey and Chris Rock and Chris Farley and Kevin Nealon and the like. I was also there for the Will Ferrell, Chris Kattan, Molly Shannon, Norm Macdonald and the like. I was also there when it was Jimmy Fallon and Tina Fey and Adam Sandberg and the like. Was also a big fan of when it was Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig and Jason Sudeikis and Bill Hader and the like. I also absolutely love the show now. What I don't understand is the point you're trying to make. Should look at the period between 2005 and 2015 but yet you're referring to the 80's and 90's. Are you okay?

Dear friend, see the quality of casts of generations and as a result the level of the entire SNL program as a spectrum. It's okay to have different tastes, and I can understand the interest in the current cast, which most likely stems from your political views. In the past, the quality of the comedian and his personal skill in performing was the determining factor for his employment. But look at the actors now; There must be a trans person, a gay person, a woman of color, etc. in the actors, whether they are experienced comedians or not

I don't care if there is gay characters or trans character or black character as long as what I'm watching is good it doesn't matter. What I don't do is sit around in a shell of ignorance trying to keep the world out of my brain so I don't have to pretend certain things don't exist. The antithesis to be in woke is being asleep. I'd rather be awake to the world then have my head shoved in the sand forcing myself to believe nonsense that is outdated or not true so that I don't have to disrupt my inner peace. My love of the show has nothing to do with the inclusion or lack of inclusion of anything or anybody. I just really think the cast is really funny and they stopped having as many political sketches and they've had a lot more sketches of just silliness like a woman who shakes the table when she tosses her salad LOL. You're the person that goes around assigning politics to everything. I mean how do you determine what is a good show or movie? If you're not basing your conclusion of whether tbr move is good or bad based on just how good or bad it is then I think you've lost sight of entertainment.
