To be fair, the only time people EVER clap or cheer in a movie theater nowadays, outside of Premiere Night, is when they are watching Marvel Flims or Demon Slayer. Anything other than that gets little to no reaction.

One was the bar Mike punches Walter, a couple of other breweries around town, somewhere adjacent to where the exterior of Saul’s offices were shot (I missed that one), and the finale was at Hotel Albuquerque. It was a ton of fun. Watching Ozymandias with an entire restaurant full of people hanging on to every second of it is one of my favorite movie/tv experiences

I loved this show watching alone, but watching it recently with my parents (whom I was staying with for a few months. They didn't know anything about the plot) was a lot of fun. We would watch one almost every night, but as we neared the end: on a Sunday evening, we had time so I suggested: let's watch Granite State and Felina back to back. It was awesome.

Living in ABQ you have to understand that probably just about everybody here either knew someone who worked on the show or saw the film trucks around town for the last 7 years and with it's success it really became a source of pride for the community DESPITE the violent subject matter. Not unlike the residents of the HOME ALONE house watching THAT movie for the first time after having their home taken over for weeks..

Because it's a very dark and morbid show. Some people go into things wanting a happy ending, Breaking Bad just doesn't have that. It shows people the harsh reality of life. It's not exactly for everyone.

@@GladwinAbel it's not that people have "bad taste" they just have different taste, I can see why someone wouldn't enjoy the show. I enjoyed it but the whole show is kinda stressful because the whole show is basically a nailbiter, having you always on edge. Some people probably wouldn't like that

There's always something _so_ emotional and moving about a show's finale. Doesn't matter what show it is. It's the show's final chance to say goodbye and go out in real style. _3rd Rock from the Sun_ and _The Big Bang Theory_ also had a very nice final outro.

@@caseybaird6268 I watched it by myself. I did smile at Lydia’s death but otherwise I was silent. It’s not an epic ending by any means, it’s solemn. Walt has destroyed his life, his family, and killed many people. At this point all he could do was kill the Nazis that killed his brother in law and took Jesse hostage, and then die. Maybe then some people would be able to live on and save themselves.

@@tonymontana4284 If they filmed nothing for the last scene, then why is there a final scene of the show? Seriously though, I don’t understand why the Sopranos finale gets so much hate. Do you really need to see Tony’s brains splattered all over his family to know that the guy who went into the bathroom killed him? It’s a nod to The Godfather and is exactly in line with what Bacala told Tony in the second to last episode. “At the end, you probably don’t hear anything. Everything just goes to black”.
