I ordered T-Mobile Home Internet and was offered this for free by signing up for a $10 a month LTE tablet data plan and said sure why not. It seems like a decent little tablet so far and there are some cheap cases sold on Amazon so wasn't a bad deal. Not sure how much I'll actually use it but meh, price was right.

Fairly basic specs. Decent for use on the go. Glad to see Android 10, USB C charging, mostly stock android, and 720p screen. That all adds up to decent battery and performance. Thanks for the review.

It works well enough that I have zero problem recommending it to someone who just wants a basic tablet for social media, browsing, and some media consumption/light gaming. They did good with this one.

Hey thanks for this review man. Because of your review I got it. I'm with metro and with them right now it's free and 15 a month for unlimited data as I'm sure you may have heard. Basically an absolute steal if you're on a budget and want a basic tablet.

The Acatel Joy tab is always glitching and is 16 GB and dies in 4 hours and i buy it on Metro and is LCD display and I'm moving on with Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 on Samsung Store

The tab S7 is a great tablet. You shouldn't be experiencing those issues though. Have you tried factory resetting and setting it up again?

Ok so, I'm typing on this tablet at the moment and, please tell me I'm not the only one with the problem that I try and move apps to different places and it just let's go like I stopped touching it. Also when I try and just swipe around the tablet it sometimes doesn't work and it just open apps that I've swiped over which is really bad because sometimes it's hard to use. Anyone else have this problem?

I just got my Alcatel Joy Tab 2 from a local Metro by T-Mobile corporate store, for the initial price and the guarantee that I'll get it back after the third month of paid service, I figure it sounds good. Yes, it's a nice tablet overall and fast. HOWEVER, after the first week of use it was clear there was one very annoying issue - the screen is VERY SENSITIVE!! While I swipe and scroll like normal, like I've done on my phone and other tablets, it will jump into things and open things that I'm not tapping on, just scrolling over! So I find myself tapping the back button alot! I went back to the store and they did a factory reset, but it still does it. I've had to readjust my touch to this screen and only this way I can avoid this happening for the most part. But it still happens suddenly and is very very annoying! I even reduced the Pointer Speed, which I read on Google can help. At the moment I'm waiting to get screen protectors in the mail, I'm hoping when I put one on the screen that this might reduce the screen sensitivity... BUT NOW the latest issue that's been happening the past few days, is that I DON'T get ebay notifications in the normal time frame or hardly at all!?! I am pulling my hair out trying to figure this out. I've checked everything! All the notification settings are correct. And I set the app to not be optimized with the battery. The only thing left to do is uninstall it and then reinstall it... But I think this is a flaw with this Alcatel Joy Tab 2!...

@@barna1299 You're not the only one with that problem I have it also the screen is very sensitive and scrolling you can just scroll over something and something pops up that you didn't want. And it's very dífficult to type on the keyboard because you have to press the keyboard letters hard or you could be pressing the keyboard and pressing the keyboard to type a letter . It takes forever to type out a simple sentence.

I expected to use it with my own existing SIM card but the package has a brand new SIM and i'm confused. Is this tablet only works with a specific service? I myself am on that exact device, and I can tell you right now, it is such a crappy tablet. It sucks (in my opinion). Struggles to play games. The frame rate is like I am watching a slideshow. But, I can do smaller tasks like watching KZfaq, but I can literally see the pixels. Not for me, but you may have lower standards.
