The age gap is so big , yet it isn't noticeable for 2 reasons 1. She looks young 2. Jaewookaa have a mature face from very early on and he can pull it off like pro and third bounce reason is their chemistry.

@@user-be2ei2im6w 저같은 경우 정소민님 2010년 데뷔작 나쁜남자때부터 첨 보기 시작해 장난 스런 키스때두 참 잼있게 봤었는데 진짜 신기하긴 하드라구요 왼만해선 세월이 흐르면 누구나 나이 먹는 법인데 정소민님은 데뷔작품 나쁜남자랑 장난스런 키스때나 옛날이나 지급이나 여전히 변함 없으시는데다가 이쁘시구 그대로이시더라구요!! 이재욱 배우님은 2019년 어쩌다 발견한 하루때 첨 뵙는데 요번 환혼 드라마로 통해 입덕 했지만 진심 잘생겼어요ㅠㅠ그와중에 재욱 소민님 찐 잘어울리시궁ㅠ진짜 왕자 공주가 따로 없으셔욤~♡

These two are the reason why "Alchemy...." is such a success. While II is very good, the story is not nearly as interesting without Somin! She makes season one so much more believable!

Somin Jung deserves more recognition. I think she is one of the most underrated actress in Korean industry. The chemistry she brings in with each of her co-stars is just phenomenal - Playful kiss, Because this is my first life, The Smile has left your eyes, Monthly Magazine Home, now Alchemy of Souls - she has really good chemistry with all of her male leads.

this is how i feel right now. i just started part 2 yesterday and i got really sad. i was also surprised she is the same age as i am but look so young. the story as to why they changed to a different face also didn't make any sense. while the now actress is also amazing, i feel like their connection is not there at all.

This pairing is like a chef's kiss in drama history🏆 I kind of understand why somin literally acts like she knows nothing about him. Jaewook is braver in that sense because him guessing answers means his respect to a senior, which in return, somin kinda wants to protect her image in order to prevent some kind of gossip or shipping of fans, especially considering his age, me thinks, which is very reasonable when you think about how unhealthy some fans can be 🙄 I respect both of them and love their acting in the drama. I hope to see them together in a comedy in the future!🥰

I’ve been really enjoying Alchemy of Souls - the cinematography, acting and characters are great! I really liked So Min in Because this is My First Life. She’s a great actress, and that ended up being one of my favorite kdramas due in part to how real and relatable her character felt. So I started watching this one for her and she didn’t disappoint. 😅
