I feel like something with Crowley's past as an angel will be a big part of season three. He kept running into people who recognized him from before the fall, he was still able to open a classified heaven document, Metatron said he didn’t Gabriel to be a fallen arch angel because there was already was one, it's never quite fleshed out but it seems Crowley and Az's powers are different, Crowley can pause time for example. Idk. we'll see if my guess is off or not when we get to season 3!
