Cartola, one of the greatest samba composers, was working washing cars... Then came this new group of artists, like Clara Nunes, Beth Carvalho, Alcione, João Nogueira, Martinho da Vila and actually introduced a new steam to the traditional sound. They were some of the founders of "Clube do Samba".
