Even if it does, which I'm not entirely sure how it effects the rest of your body, you are consuming so much less alcohol that it certainly wouldn't effect your liver, etc., as much.

People consume less alcohol by butt chugging too. And they still end up in the hospital for alcohol poisoning. Alcohol directly into the bloodstream is not a good idea.
