That's why I think we can do things like give up the house & go travelling then buy a ruin! We have a very strong relationship. If you can get through what we did, you can get through anything. X

Hi Liz, Thanks for your reply. Yes, this life is a strange one, so many unexplored inner feelings. I would be happy to chat sometime. Back in manchester, i was talking and chairing meetings with other lost souls due to alcohol/drug addiction. I have formed amazing friendships since hitting emotional rock bottom, people you can be truly be open and honest with, I find being open with my feelings helps me and most importantly it helps others to see its ok to be vulnerable and to drop the ego. So many people wear masks just to go out of their front door, I'm just grateful I didn't die with the numerous suicide attempts because now all that pain is my strongest asset in helping someone else reach spiritual liberation (I'm not a religious person) I've definitely been to psychological hell but thanks to joining AA 7 years ago I no longer have a desire to block out the world with alcohol I'm so happy I can stand tall and take life as it comes, but I'm only human and need to communicate with others in order to stay alive and live happy. It's hard to get this amount of info across by message. it's easier talking. Shine on x Sam

I'm finding meeting here, there are some that are word by mouth, but I always find the rooms if I look, not as many as the US and UK but it only takes 2 peeps for a meeting, the irish countryside is amazing
