I know this is a few years old but what I use to hold my baubles is I have a styrofoam ring that I put holes in. Then I use several fat plastic straws and stick into the hole of ornament as you can make it as tight or lose as you want because they expand or flatten. That way you can hold onto the end of straws and turn the ornaments. Then place in styrofoam to dry. But great job on yours 😊

Your idea of the snow cap inside is brilliant! I've always used acrylic paint but it took forever to dry. The snowcap just speeds up the process! Thank you.

I purchased a metallic mica from ColourArte called Primary Elements. You pour a small amount into the bulb and smack the ball around and the static makes it stick to the sides. You can buy it in different metallic colors.

You can use a dowel and stick it in a foam block. Also if you are making a lot you can get a turner. Like they use for The tumblers.

What is the blending solution that you made? Or can I just use regular solution + snowcap?

how long does it take to dry and do you have to keep turning it till it dries, also do you have a certain ink you like use

can you use plastic balls instead of glass

I would get a styrofoam cone an insert the ball onto the top and it would actually give a better grip and no puddles on top of the cup, ink will just drip down the cone and could be reused indefinitely.

Are you really using Pinata gold.... or were you using Pinata brass & just calling it 'gold'? Much of your work was not visible as you kept moving out of camera range. You did this almost 4yrs ago, so maybe you've gotten better at this.
