As much as I don't want to leave my house right now, we needed a good many things from the grocery store. I didn't film in the store simply because I didn't want to be constantly touching my phone to film after touching everything in the store, but I did remember to give y'all our opinions of some of the items we tried last time I went to Aldi! I hope you enjoy this grocery haul and product review!

Large areas of the country don’t have Aldi stores. Lots of us are staying out of the bigger stores that have so many shoppers , due to the virus. Also, there are few pick up groceries in some areas. However, I love grocery hauls. Thanks!

Great video!!! Hope you all are staying safe and healthy 😊 I like to make fruit syrups- fruit, little water, sugar, and cornstarch. Bring to a boil and turn down to a simmer. Cook until thick and fruit is broken down. If to runny add more cornstarch and water and boil again. I strain my syrup but that’s just my preference. Ha!! My husband loves to snack on croutons! When the bag runs low he’ll make a “salad” without lettuce just all the goodies and dressing.

We just went grocery shopping for the first time in about 3 weeks today. Hit Aldi (which is our usual place) & was pleasantly surprised by how few people were there & how stocked they were. $140 later (a few extras popped into the cart 🙈) & we are set for a bit. I bought the same pasta sauce today & am excited to try it! Also their vanilla caramel coffee creamer is good too - it's our go to! And we also buy the same cranberry trail mix - it's good as well. I just can't eat it with my braces (yay for being 32 with braces 🙄).

My Aldi has been WAY more stocked than any other store around! The employees are working so hard and seriously the nicest people!! I love it so much there!!

Great haul! Yes! Baking! I just baked up a batch of scratch made biscuits this morning and nobody is here but me. Going to freeze them for when I want them. Later today, going to redecorate the living room!

I love those rolls, I buy them every time I shop. I shop once a month so I usually buy 3 and freeze them. They hold up well in the freezer. Alot of the things you bought I also buy. I like Aldi. I'm curious about the cocoa powder I've never tried that. Maybe you can give us a review on it. Stay safe Mandy in these crazy times💞

Tip for you. You can put ripe bananas in the freezer(peel and all). Just let them thaw on the counter and they taste great in baked items.

Cindi's Creative Blessings L’Oven Fresh Zero Net Carbs. Two flavors, wheat or multi seed. Both are not bad....$2.99 a loaf.

Aldi's is great.. and we have a save a lot of go too.. i just love it.. they don't have everything but alot of stuff is great from there..and alot of stuff my kids prefer over name brand now.. so it works.. and it's cheap.. same quality.. who cares.. lol much luv from Nashville, katie

Mandy here in Asheville walmart closes at 830pm and reopens at 7am. I've found if you get there when they first open they have small amounts of cleaning supplies and toilet paper. Just incase you need any of those things. I ran in the other morning at 7 to get a few things people were at toilet paper grabbing like crazy still. I did get a extra lysol spray. I buy toilet paper when it's on sale so I have no need for it now. Hope this info is true in ur area. I get the White Chocolate creamer at Aldi too I love it! Stay safe!

We love the southwestern salad, it is so good, and just FYI if you can't find fresh chicken breast we get the 3lb bag in the frozen section for around $5.00 they are individually frozen so you just bring out what you need, we also get them at Walmart when we go there it's 10lbs for around $20.00, thanks for the grocery haul I always love to see what others people find at their Aldi store. Luv luv luv’Ed this. We have ALDIs & love shopping there. For some reason our stores near and in Ft Worth are out of everything. My hubby of 76 years is going tomorrow to H-E-B & Albertsons to see if he can find anything we need. Our wi-fi is down and now after waiting a week the nicest young man told us it was a 2 man job and only opening is next Monday. I went in my room and cried for one hour. I’m sitting on a hill 2 miles from home just to see you because y’all are like family to me❣️God Bless.

Hi Mandy. A really easy desert idea you can make with the blackberries is make pancake/Yorkshire pudding type batter, mix in the blackberries and cook in the oven either in a large dish or in muffin type tins. Served hot with cream, custard or ice cream it is delicious or they are nice cold as well. I think traditionally they are made with cherries or apricots but really you can use lots of different fruits depending on what you have and like. The dish is called Clafoutis which you probably already knew. I hope you give it a try sometime. There are lots of recipes for it online so you can get the correct ratio of wet and dry ingredients. I love how you tried new or new to you products from Aldi and shared your thoughts on them. There are lots of things I've wondered about so this may help if you keep doing them :-) I used to use there cocoa all the time but I tried Hershey's once and now I simply can't go back to the Aldi Kind. I love most everything I've bought from Aldi but that coca just doesn't measure up to Hershey. Our favorite smoothie is a green smoothie and I know usually green smoothies can be scary but this one really is good.Its banana, oranges and apple, strawberry yogurt and fresh spinach. I just use a small handful of the spinach. I usually will add a sugar substitute just to make the whole thing a tad sweeter. We then put ice in it and blend. delicious!

I love, love, love Aldi's products. Only thing that I didn't like was there yogurts. Cereals are cheap and taste very good. Their chocolate milk is amazing.

I went to the grocery store as I was out for work today. The store never feels like a clean place to be considering our food comes from there. lol. I hate to imagine how many hands and from where have been on the basket handle each time I shop. Eek! That blueberry syrup looks delicious. Def. not here in the UK either. Haha I’ve been baking a lot. Made a non dairy banana bread, and chocolate chip cookies. So I’m gonna make either poppy seed muffins or brownies. Today FINALLY we have a stay at home order, just hope people actually take it seriously . Thinking. About you and your family

I can;t find AP or Bread flour here in WNC.. seems like everyone is baking like you lol. Can't wait for this mess to get behind us and everything is back to normal and I am back to work. We spent the last 6= months living in our RV in Arizona and cooking so one of the things that kept me busy and sane lol. TFS your videos

I miss Food Lion, I grew up in NC and that’s the grocery store I always knew (also Piggly Wiggly & the old school IGA, don’t think those are around anymore though). I’ve actually missed my grocery shopping the past month. I have some health issues and a compromised immune system so my hubby has been making the store runs and he’s done....okay 😂 It’s definitely not something he knows a lot about but I’m grateful for him going and forcing me to stay home. I loved your haul, I’ll just live vicariously through watching your shopping 😂

You can freeze milk. Just pour out a cup then freeze! It doesn't hurt the milk

You can make smoothies without yogurt. I have never used it plus it's less calories

@@MandyintheMaking My sister makes smoothies with frozen fruit too. You could use fruit juice, milk or ice cream instead of yogurt. Another idea: my go-to favorite snack is fruit topped with pecans and granola. I typically use a banana and blueberries, chopped pecans and I buy different kinds of granola whenever/wherever I shop (used to go to a variety of stores, now like everyone else I only go one or two places every couple of weeks). Sometimes I start with a base of yogurt and I just use whatever fruit, nuts, etc. I have on hand. I eat this almost daily either as a snack, dessert or breakfast. Healthy, easy and tasty! I've never tried it with frozen fruit but don't see why it wouldn't work. I think we're all getting creative these days, using what we have on hand. Not such a bad thing to be resourceful and grateful for what we have. : - )

In the last few months they put in a Aldi a hour from here. I had planned on going soon but then Covid 19 hit and we are shelter in place. I've been cooking a lot more.

Always love some Aldi! The only thing that's been hard to find at ours recently is paper products. They told me that what they get just goes quick so next time I go, I'm going first thing when they open. I figure at some point the people that have been buying it won't buy anymore. 😂

You can make you own trail mix chocolate ( m&ms) raisins, nuts and seeds of your choice mix them put in snack size bags

Yes been baking more lately, more time to now. I was going to a Christian based store, until yesterday....not going back. They are price gouging, a box of jiffy corn bread mix is $1.99 now! (That’s the price of 4-6 boxes around here before the Coronavirus.

I love Aldi! We recently moved to a state without one and it makes me so sad! We have a bunch of grocery stores here but i want aldi back! Lol. I have to pickup groceries today and i’m not looking forward to it at all. I’m definitely missing walmart pickup

The Eckrich smoked sausage, 3 lb pack at Aldi is $3 to $4 less than national stores. If you like your regular potato chips less salty than Lay's, Aldi brand is for you. The HUGE (not frozen) Mama Cozzi pizza's are very good. Everything is SO much cheaper, basically. Our savings help pay for the weekly specials (rugs, appliances, plants, gardening furniture, etc, etc) which are a great value and quality is VERY high. HaHa!

Yes!! They had the "random aisle", as I call it, STOCKED with lots of new stuff! I wanted to browse that, but decided I better not. But, I've bought stuff from that aisle and love everything I've ever gotten!

Is Aldi still allowing/encouraging you to bring in your own bags? Other stores have told customers to stop (potentially bringing more germs in) and they are packing the groceries in clean disposable bags.

Great haul! I love blueberries as well! Just wondering....do y'all have blueberry bushes? We have a few, and we love to use fresh blueberries and then freeze a bunch for the year.

They didn't have any ground beef or chicken breasts at our Walmart, or food lion.😔 I had to get frozen tenderlions in a bag.🥺....Now I have to go back out to try to find some ground beef for my spaghetti.😫

It's so interesting to see vloggers that live in other states not out wearing masks and gloves everywhere. That's all you see in nj and I'm one of those people. It's nice to see videos of people looking "normal". Thanks for another great video mandy.

I have only seen one person wearing a mask! I just washed up really well when I got home and of course used hand sanitizer as soon as I got in the car. :)
