I'm one of those people who fell in love with the "4AD sound" of yore... and I find Aldous Harding to be a perfect example of that ethereal sound from the mid 80s transported to 2019. Love her voice and sound and how much she can make with her minimalist sound.

The ONLY Singer/writer/artist/musician that’s ‘method’ every song, is a completely unique story, style, story! It’s took me a couple of years to work out, that this amazing WOMAN, channel’s a unheard souls life, times, location style, etc… I get lost in every song/video I can’t think of anyone else who takes herself and us on a complete journey! I wish I could explain myself better! Can’t, but I know, what she’s doing!!! Xxx

She's just so stunning. It's refreshing to see an artist who both takes herself seriously yet also doesn't take herself too seriously. Those little jump cuts of her with her tambourine are so adorable.

It instead expresses a contentness in moving on and reveals Harding is now happier within herself today. She doesn’t regret their relationship, but looks back on it and is at peace. It appears the song may directly reference how Williams won the acclaimed APRA Silver Scroll in 2018 for his duet with Aldous, ‘Nobody Gets What They Want Anymore’. This is a beautiful piece of music. I love the lazy way her melody and words wraps around the harmony. She pronounces things in way I like. The vowels and plosives are gratifying. It's weird. She's weird. Not everyone is okay. Some people are okay. We'll find out.
