Great Fauns, i think they are equipped with V12 or V16 air cooled Deutz-Engines. The red cab on the rear of the trailer is a MAN F7/F8 cab, they also were mounted as Saviem and Raba. Which heavy duty trailer manufacturer is it ?

Goliath is powered by a Cummins

The big Fauns were always powered by V10 or V12 air-cooled, Deutz diesels. Newer versions are powered by water-cooled engines though.

Ich denke, der erste Truck ist nicht im Leerlauf. Er macht macht beim Vorbeifahren an der Kamera nur wenig Drehzahl, weil die Anhängelast erst mal langsam um die Kurve muss. Als das Gespann wieder geradeaus fährt, ist der erste Truck schon am Mikrofon vorbei, und man hört nur den zweiten.

Railroad lingo, when assembling trains, the cars are pushed over a hump, disconnected and gravity pulls the car to the correct line of cars. Typing on phone necissatates short explaination.

Not uncommon at all...I used to drive the military Leyland DAF DROPS vehicles for the Army - they were all left hookers, as were many of the old Bedford MJ/MK/TM vehicles, and Land Rovers too

I seem to remember that the unipowers where built for the French military but not taken up. ALE then got them.
