The producer isn't in control of the set, they hire a director and he has a staff or prop masters and armorers. Dave Halls should be in the dock that's why he's crying, he knows it.

@davidcage9841 I've never heard of a judge hiring the security staff to the courthouse, or buying the metal detecting equipment, or being reprimanded in cases where people brought weapons into the courtroom. I don't think a judge "controls"anything except for whose turn it is to speak. On the other hand, I could see a producer going through those types of safety preparation steps, so I take your point.

The judge showed that she knows nothing about how movies are run and operated while filming. Baldwin being the producer is a HUGE deal and absolutely relevant in this case.

Law school is very difficult, very expensive, and some people have vomited while taking the bar exam. Then to be a practicing attorney for many years and then become a judge is more difficult. The judge absolutely knows what she is doing, movies and all. I am very certain if she didn't know anything about filming operations she researched it. You don't need to try and do her job for her, you couldn't anyway.

Sorry > but this is wrong. The gunsmith is the person that was task with not having live rounds on the set. She was responsible and only her. She was convicted and that should've be the end of this story. The DA is trying to make a name for his self and don't care who goes down. The bigger name helps him in is professional career. I think Baldwin’s role as a Producer is Extremely relevant. In fact it’s one of the most relative and important facts of Baldwins’ role and responsibilities on the set. It was an instrumental fact and mentioned many times in the Gutierrez trial. I’m absolutely shocked at this ruling.

Alec is disgusting! Looking confused when the judge comments about him yelling at crew members. He can't and won't see how toxic he is and how his behavior and actions took a young woman's life. So the videos we saw of Baldwin acting out the part where he is "Cocking the hammer back", the pulling the trigger, several times, shows that it is a single action revolver, and he most likely did that very same motion inside the church building, when the gun "went off", meaning he pulled the trigger. He was in "acting" mode, and reflex took over. Yet he says he "never pulled the trigger". I still think Baldwin should be held accountable, as the final person to have handled the pistol.

If only the prosecution hadn't destroyed the gun making it impossible to test, their own witness (the old guy) will sit in court and say they should never have destroyed the gun. The state have messed up, and the Hannah trial and the facts they laid out will torpedo this case.

This is all a game. Please. Don't you think the prosecutors have already discussed this stuff? It's all a big dog and pony show. They work with this judge all the time. Don't you think they already know what the judge is going to allow and not allow? But it's on the Internet, so they are hamming it up. It's the same when Hannah's attorney tried to argue to get her out on bail after the verdict. He knew the judge was going to deny his request, but he had to put on a show because that's his job.

I'm not a Baldwin fan but this trial is simply unfair. It was a tragic accident. The person responsible for this is the person who handed Baldwin the gun with a live round in it. I don't understand why there was even real bullets on set. I hope they find him not guilty because there was no premeditation, motive or handling of the gun by Baldwin prior to the shooting. It was a tragic accident.

This whole trial is a sh** show. It was an unfortunate accident and the husband sued and probably got a ton of money plus he also wanted to be an executive producer for the Rust movie. New Mexico prosecutor is grandstanding - look at me I am prosecuting a big Hollywood actor. Hannah was the responsible person and is serving time. I hope Hollywood never ever uses New Mexico for a movie

Dave Halls crocodile tears took a plea to a minor charge and shifted the blame, same for Sarah Zackerly,. also this is kinda edited as they say Hannah hands him the gun but we know there was a lunch, then they returned to the church and Dave Halls hands him the gun when hannah was outside and he shouts cold gun. Baldwin will probably walk now rhe producer theory is dead. They are going to use the crow as an example, yet in the crow no one was jailed, it was civil matter.

In the video clips they showed look where his finger was. It was not on the trigger. Anyone who handles firearms and shoots will never put their finger on the trigger unless they are prepared to fire.

"Look" that doesn't mean he's not guilty. When you refuse to follow safety protocol and someone gets killed, you're at fault. He was shooting after the director yelled cut, using the gun as a pointing stick, having his finger on the trigger constantly, not paying attention during safety briefs. Not to mention he had NO REASON to pull the gun out and point it at her. He literally did it for no reason, they weren't shooting a scene, and someone got killed. He's guilty.
