I'm pretty sure the person respects his sexuality and understands that he is gay but the chemistry between Alec and Clary is undeniable and u can't just ignore it and it's not wrong to make an edit or au about it

Thank you for this !!! I DO understand and respect him but he's a FICTIONAL character, and I think it's ridiculous when people get angry about shipping alec with other people. HE'S NOT REAL!! Besides there're tons of videos shipping straight characters with gay ones and no one makes a fuss, but i'm cool with it. That's what an AU is - alternate universe !! Some people just don't want to see it and that's fine, but then why watch Clary and Alec videos if they don't like them together?? o.O Again thank you ^.^

Johanna Prodz your welcome💞 and I also find it ridiculous when people get upset over that as well but it’s even more ridiculous when people make there way out to call someone a homophobe because of the edit like no homophobia is more like u not even respecting that he is gay or taking acknowledge of it and just continuously making edits of him and arguing why he shouldn’t be gay but that’s not the cause he’s a fictional character he isn’t real and an au literally shouldn’t take away from his character regardless of the edit he’s still gay and he’s still Alec so I totally agree with u😊😊

I love Alec as he is, but this is just too precious! And I'm a total Clace / Clastian fan, but the relationship these two seem to have in the series is remarkable. You definitely highlighted what a chemistry they could have.

People. Seriously. Chill out. YES we know Alec is gay. Nobody said he's not allowed to be as gay as a rainbow coloured unicorn covered in sparkly fairy dust, okay? But for Poseidon's sake, let people ship whomever they bloody want. If this person wants to ship Alec with Clary or Magnus or a goddamn potato, then let them ship it. Jesus.
