The pronunciation of Jalapeño seems incorrect. There is an accent mark over 'n' hence it should have an emphasis over that.
@govindshekhawat39454 жыл бұрын
Exactly ...just like la niña (a weather phenomenon)
@Karpras4 жыл бұрын
Exactly! The tilde on the letter ñ gives the letter an “enya” sound. So Jalapeño is pronounced as “Hau-luh-pain-yos”.

Butter depends on whether one uses American or British- in American r is not silent.

This funny names show that english is really a funny language as amitabh bachchan said in his movie. if we can't use L in almond and J in mojito and R in butter P in raspberry J in jalapeno and so on why they put D in porridge if there is no use of it and why extra E in vegetable if there is no need of it again A in cocoa and again extra O in chocolate I mean why if we can't use them 😂😂

PS:(Things I found to be incorrect in the video): Mayonnaise: It's pronounced as may.uh.neiz not maya.neez !!! Sandwhich with a 'd' is fine, considering the american pronounciation Jalepeno: there is a tilda over n which means an extra emphasis over n pronounciation would be- halapeinyu

Absolutely!! The way she pronounced ‘Vegetable’ I was shocked when I heard it. So much focus on ‘e’ after ‘g’. 🤦🏻♀️ Girl. No!! There is no need to sound posh by making certain alphabets silent. Come on.
@doof32313 жыл бұрын
Omg yess i also commented this on her other video .m
@oops66613 жыл бұрын
@@maneeshaacharya620 Actually, she pronounced the vegetable word correct here. The 'e' after 'g' is silent. Most Indians pronounce the 'e' but its silent in the English language.
@maneeshaacharya6203 жыл бұрын
Pooja Dutta I understand that. But my comment was further to what Smita Mishra said above. What I meant is pronouncing ‘V’ correctly is more important than focusing on which letter is silent just to sound nice. It’s always kiss Ws and bite Vs. I hope you understood my point.

Asparagus was wrong along with the others people stated here. It is pronounced ‘uh.speh.ruh.guhs‘. Mayonnaise is pronounced mei-uh-Neil. Lastly, when you give pronunciations of Mojito and Jalapeño, please explain why J takes the sound of the H. It is a Spanish word and in Spanish J takes the sound of an H. Similarly, the double ll in a Spanish word takes the sound of a Y.

Mam, I'm working on my English from quite some time. And I really wanna know where I am reached. So there is a think that I wanna know, that's my level of the English fluency. Please make a video of the English fluency chart so we all could understand where we have reached. Whether we have basic knowledge or we are working on intermediate level. So we could understand that how many efforts we have to put in the practice.
@urfav_.ankita4 жыл бұрын
it will be "where have i reached" dear😊..and it's not think its 'thing'..think means something else(sochna) and it will not be that's my level it will be 'that'....that's is not used...for such sentence. example-(that's right,that's not gonna happen)... that's means that is....we join these two words for making it short..and i think the sentence is wrong it should be..."that what's the level of my english fluency" 😊please make a video on english fluency chart is okay but i think...."please make a video regarding engish fluency chart" zyada acha lgega...and the last line you wrote was bit wrong...you wrote how many..dear many is used when you can count something...for example....(how many paper's are kept there) it should me 'much'....the line will be "how much effort we need to put in our practice"
