Hi!! Rob I been in alegre beach resort before it long long ago..its a class AA resort yes your right its beautiful,quite place for relaxing..thank you. I really miss cebu.

Yeah I did like it. I could hardly believe this was damaged by the typhoon last year. I miss Cebu too, wish I was sitting by this beach!

Is this beach resort is still operating? When i tried to called the Sogod municipal and asking if still operating they said the resort already closed and why? Or they have changed management and rename the name of the resort? Can you please tell us know co'z we are interested to visit this resort? Thank you.

yes it unfortunately closed a few years ago ... I'm not sure of the future of the place

I've been working here since 2012 as a cook.but on 2014 they filed bankruptcy due to bad management.now I'm currently working here as a security guard.fortunaltly this 2019 they are planing to revive the resort.highrise building are currently in process for construction and a culinary school as well.

When I went there last year, it disappointing that the municipal government did not put a signage that it was already closed. I went to as far as 5 kilometers for nothing. Damned and as usual inutile, typical municipal government in the Philippines

+Sal Rodriguez Yeah it's such a pity as it was a lovely spot. I'm not sure about its future plans but I do hope they re open or find a buyer. If they just give the rooms a make over it would be amazing!

sorry to inform you Rob that last on august1 2018 they started to tare down all the cabanas rooms apart.to reduce tax.we dont know what realy thier planning to do for all the investors who visited just backs out.dont know the the real reason but maybe with management i guess.we will not see alegre for what it was before.you should visite KANDAYA of BANTAYAN instead.all alegre staffs just moved right there.tnx man
