Thanks. During Kennedy Brooks' redshirt year everyone forgot about him and going into 2018 hardly anyone expected anything from Kennedy but a few of us did and this video shows why we were high on him. Certainly has some of the best vision on any skill player currently in college football. If he had Joe Mixon's speed (my favorite RB in a long while also) he'd be a terror.

Good leg drive by the back. He’s quick and could have a breakout season. Might be one the best backs not just in the conference but in the country. Especially if there line does as good blocking as they did the past season.

Don’t sleep on Pledger !!! He is bigger, faster and even More of an Angry Runner !! Switzer used to talk about running backs like a fine wine !!! I don’t remember a time when OU had a stable of running backs this talented !! From top to Bottom, They are all winners, Just like the receivers and QB’s on this team !! An embarisment of riches !!! Played in the same back field as Franco Harris at Penn St, then went on to have his own distinguished nfl career. Amongst the top RB's in the NFL during the early to mid 70's.

Are you on drugs? "OU is and has been RBU?" That HAS to be the most homer/ignorant comment I've ever seen from an OU fan and that's saying A LOT! The Big 12 also isn't exactly known for their Defensive Lineman or LB's either.. What a Moronic statement. Alabama has had Mark Ingram, Derrick Henry, Najee Harris, Damien Harris, Kenyan Drake, Eddie Lacy, T.J. Yeldon, and Trent Richardson, not to mention they just signed 5 star Trey Sanders and will most likely sign Zachary Evans another 5 star! The last 2 RB's to win the Heisman Trophy were both RB's from ALABAMA..

Unfortunately our up and coming running back Kennedy Brooks was the victim of the dirtiest play I’ve ever seen committed by one player against another tonight against Texas Tech. A Tech defender took out his knee on a blind side block. Brooks was running toward the sideline after a Jalen hurts interception throw when a Tech D lineman dove into hs left knee from the side. Wasn’t even part of the play. Completely unnecessary dirty ass hit to purposely side swipe a guys knee when he isn’t even looking and it has absolutely nothing to do with the play! Won’t know how bad till the MRI tomorrow. Hopefully nothing is torn? Hopefully?

Yeah love Kennedy. I hate these type of RBs , he is good size , good speed and good vision. As a former linebacker he that type you think you are not going to have a problem with until game time. Because of his running style I would over play him and miss the tackle a times bcuz I would try to blast him. No big flash on tape just subtle movements and burst that make it hard to gauge the tackle . He is stronger than it seems too . Can't wait until season starts

@TopBillinSports
@TopBillinSports 5 жыл бұрын
@Lion Heart - Nah, Running Back U or DBU is an NFL thing where people are killing it at the highest level, and the fans of that college try to take ownership of a position group. Nobody cares about how good someone like Keith Marshall was at Georgia when in 5 years most high school running backs won't remotely remember who he was because he flamed out at the next level. Todd Gurley being on every commercial and winning awards in the NFL is what would make Georgia RBU if it were. College success is a dime a dozen; NFL success separates the boys from the men...All those LSU DB's being drafted high and performing great in the league is what LSU fans hang their hats on...If a high school has a bunch of good running backs that never even make it to college, it won't remotely get the attention one that sends a ton of high-profile players to college.

@Larry Bailey - You have to relax, bro; Not sure which draft you watched that had Chub as a first-round pick, but you must be talking about Bradley Chub because Nick Chubb wasn't...Adrian Peterson is one of the greatest running backs of all time and DeMarco Murray was killing the league in very similar fashion to Gurley. Joe Mixon, in my opinion, is better than Sony Michel, as he's a bigger more athletic version and just had a CRAZY season with over 1,000 yards and over 40 catches. You talk about Chubb and Michel killing Oklahoma? Wow, that's never been done before, bro. lol. Oklahoma's defense is TRASH DOOKIE, but Rodney Anderson killed a very good Georgia defense in the same game. Semaje Perine had one of the greatest college careers that very much mirrored Nick Chubbs. Swift is my favorite but Kennedy Brooks did everything he did and put up better averages in a similar role. Trey Sermon every bit as good as Holyfield etc., You're being a fan; I'm being neutral.
