Messi dribbled Nesta 3 times at max. The biggest messi nuthugger youtuber made a biased video, but that doesn't prove anything. Messi is my favorite btw.

Well the guy is undoubtedly one of the very best in history. One thing that makes me respect him even more is the fact that he belongs to that generation who played on sand pitches when younger, until they moved to grass in more professional settings. It means this guy probably made hundreds of tackles during training while ripping his leg skin apart by sliding on sand every single time. And yet, if he became so good at it professionally, it means he was never scared to do it over and over. Warrior mode.

It’s difficult expressing what I’m feeling in this moment thanks to this stunning video. Nesta is a true example for every defender: he was simply amazing in everything he did; he had an incredible career - unfortunately, he didn’t perform so well for Italy due to the injuries. He’s also extremely funny: if you know Italian, I suggest you to see the interview he released to Calciatori Brutti.

Maldini is the best of all time in tackles. It was Maldini who made what was previously simply an intervention aimed at interrupting the opponent's attack intro a real sublime technical gesture aimed at recovering the ball and resetting it for the attack of his own time. His beautiful dispossessing sliding tackle are something that was never matched by anyone else. But yes, Nesta is the second one, And Baresi n. 3
