Her voice is so mature for her age. I wasn't expecting her to sound so soulful and good. I mean, I figuered she could sing, but wow, what a surprise. Fantastic voice, she's gonna go far. Can't wait to see her with Grammy one day :)

what stands out to me is that she has this uncanny ability to wrap her voice around the song and infuse it with soulfulness. This is evident in the cover songs that she does and this song and her other songs. So authentic and honest and soulful.

Awesome depiction of her voice. When she sand "stitches" straight blew me away. Shawn Mendes got completely out of breath covering this song and he wasn't even toying with his voice at all. She is very versatile with her range, timing and ability to roll into the next verse.

Based on the face that one of the most popular artists over the last 20 years beat her, that doesn't make her underrated. That makes her less popular than someone who produces 5 hit singles per year. And justifiably so, Alessia is awesome, but she is only popular based on one hit single. Her other music is definitely good and she will he around a while, that doesn't negate the fact that she hasn't done much else within album creation.
