My girlfriend is telling me she needs “space” and she doesn’t compliment me or gives me attention and just hangs out with her friends all day to avoid me. It’s really painful to slowly see her lose interest in me. and it’s extra hard because we are also long distance so I can’t have that physical touch, I’m just hurting so much. I can’t eat sleep or do anything really. And she seems tired, but okay.

Thats true, im in a long distance relationship and relationships for me are more about being there in person for each other and I fell in love with her after 2 years of just dating and hanging out having fun but then she had to move so we became long distance and I started to feel like we were moving apart and I was still in love with her but ut was like my love was slowly dying out and I tried my best to keep it lit and alive so I covered it with my body to keep it from going out because I would feel guilty for falling out of love with her but I also loved her so much i didnt wanna lose the love we had for each other and now im not so sure why I even try or why im doing this she barley talks to me anymore shes always with her friend smoking and drinking and she isnt the age for that yet and I wanna talk her out of it but I cant cause now her parents took away her phone because she tried to hurt herself and she didnt say why and I kinda feel like its my fault

I remember 2 years ago, listening to this song on repeat literally blubbering. I was so broken for such a long time, I couldn't listen to this without losing it. Now I listen, and look back and am able to smile about the fact that I DID get through it. Keep your head up, yes it hurts now.. might be the worst pain you have ever felt, but I promise you. As hard as it is; you deserve to be loved better and harder and longer then this person wants to give. I know it's agony; but you do deserve better !! I'm in a marriage of 45 years but it isn't all lost or broken completely... But I don't feel the love ; I don't get the love + affection that I need !! I've been married a lonnnggg time; nearly 45 yes. Knowing that I have felt "alone" for such along time ! Strange to admit it on hear. Love hasn't gone away for either of us, but it's damn hard when that someone is not automatically affectionate! Lust + love can be very confusing; but it was all genuine + still is... But I need love and affection in between the lust and I am ancient !! How did it get to this point😢 Why do I have to keep going over and over.. because the experts say talk to your husband when / if you have a problem. I said this to him and he doesn't quite want to get it.. denial I think, but he knows he's hurting me and he can't get it right and there is no one else involved ! Men; please make sure you give affection and some sort of emotional connection outside of the bed. It's so bloody important and I'm screaming inside. We are not just here for the lust, not long term you know; it has to be both surely. Don't we all want to feel that affection... It is true in this case, that action speaks louder than words. I'm sorry for my honesty and I hope I haven't met anybody feel yuck cuz I'm ancient . Reality is I'm still young in my head and my heart... I need love. To feel loved. Does anyone who’s ina relationship at the moment get scared that this is how they’re gonna feel this at some point. That you’re gonna be listening to this song and crying because they left, fell out of love with you and you’re still in love w them.
