The thing I dont like about them is that they actually made great music on their first albums, just like Keelhauled or Captain Morgans Revenge. And then they just went overboard with the ironic self image and the music went downhill with it

It's lovely to see such relaxed guys just enjoying their music and having fun. The first time I saw Alestorm I thought they were really cool guys. Upon listening to their albums, specially Sunset on the Golden Age, I know now they're unbelievable musicians. Pure love, man.

That would be cool, but it would get old very quickly, and it would be very unconfortable... But I wish they would do it now and then, in some special shows, or maybe recording a live DVD.. :S:S

is chris using an amp with his keytar or ?? just curious since i know keytars are somewhat loud enough for a small gig but something this size im assuming he has an amp

+ThatOne WeirdGuy Uhhh, yes. I'm no expert on keytars, but I assume that if playing to upwards of a thousand people you are going to need an amplifier. Thise tiny speakers would barely make it to the front row.

This show really dropped my jaw!!! Alestorm today is corrupted pirates (but I love it) . Chris is so entertaining and so talented, Dani is so good, Their songs are crazy hard!! Awesome 👍👍👍👍👍 also Elliot leads a vocal!!

i totaly miss daniel ... ;( he had some awesome stage pressence that wil be missed forever ... and the guitar style on nongrave but the sea isnt that great as it was on other albums back then ... but no grave but the sea is still an awesome album ! good work my dears...

So what happened at the end ... did they film this over two days? Because I can see Chris crowdsurfing and then he's on stage singing and then crowdsurfing again.

At 58:07 you can see Chris being helped by security up to crowdsurf - he is wearing his shirt. And you can still hear him singing. At 58:31 you can hear him say 'take it to th e f-ing bar' but he is still crowd surfing. And at 58.38 you hear the band finish the song and then it cuts to a wide shot with Chris back on stage with his shirt off.

David Batt At 58:31 it's Elliot who says "Take HIM to the fucking bar". It's definitely not Chris, as he has no mike while crowdsurfing. In the wide shot you can see Elliot with his shirt off (as before) still at Chris' mike on stage. You can see Chris, too, still crowdsurfing.

Ahhh 1000 apologies ... once I watched in full screen and in HD ... I could see. Elliot has a great voice on him - I thought it was Chris. And thanks so much for posting this - I doubt they'll make it to Christchurch, New Zealand where I live - so this was amazing.
